Though I agree that the green glow is kind of obnoxious. There was so much green everywhere in post-Synthesis, but they could tone it down a bit to make it more pleasant I guess you could say.

There wont be ANY green glow in NEXT, not because of a synthesis ending anyway.

Maybe time for you to switch your avatar soon.

And, what you wrote about "there wont be a canon ending" basically IS a canon ending, you're just giving another concocted BS-Story about "why" we don't have synthesis or control in NEXT. In a nutshell, it doesn't really matter *why*. Hell, even the Indoctrination fans can have their field day finally, because whether is was indoctrination, Shep left for another galaxy, or the controlled reapers were dismantled, who cares?

Anyway, no green glow in NEXT, because it would irritate people too much.

I damnguarantee you that.

So very true. The Milky Way is huge compared to what we have experienced in ME 1 - 3. BioWare liked to have us jumping all around the galaxy but in reality we haven't even scratched the tip of the iceberg that is the microscopic pebble of the surface of the Milky Way galaxy.

For comparison here is the map of the PnP RPG Traveller setting.

Seriously, go look at it. Zoom all the way in and all the way out. Now imagine all of the areas we explored in ME 1 - 3 all put into one location and compare it to the size of the remaining galaxy.

Proponents of leaving the Milky Way because "We have already seen it", have no idea of the sense of scale we are talking about with our home galaxy.

While I don't disagree with the sentiment.  The problem is that RGB happened everywhere in the galaxy.  So any "true" sequel would have to deal with that rather unpleasant detail.

The consequences of the endings are going to have to be dealt with eventually though. I would prefer that BioWare confront the issue now versus down the line when they have wrote themselves into an even tinier corner.

The endings will be an issue no doubt, but I would rather BioWare try and clean their pool rather than tear it down and build a new one just because some kid peed in it.

Alright what does that have to do with anything? I love the Control ending and I can use that avatar even if the ending isn't acknowledged in ME:Next. Control is the best ending for my Shepard and it will always be.

There's no canon ending if each ending can be mentioned and explained. Yes they would lead to a common point, but Bioware doesn't really have many options. The endings are so different that it would require making 4 games.

People would be way more satisfied if their ending was recognized instead of using one canon ending.

Bioware could also put ME:Next in an AU. I'd be okay with that because it would mean that in another MEU, everything I did in the Shepard Trilogy happened and is still happening.

Indeed. I'm actually somewhat interested in the concept of the games post-ending, but I have certain reservations with how it can be handled with multiple endings. I'm certain Synthesis at least is (somewhat ironically) not going to be the canon, but they're still going to have to bungle around with how they're going to present the universe now while keeping the ending state from the trilogy ambiguous. Plus, I don't have the best sentiments for Mass Effect anymore. I mean, as long as BW continues certain practices such as disregarding hard lore that they themselves established and keeping comic book black/white morality writing in the games instead of more thoughtful, realistic, and ambiguous themes in the story (SuperMac is a bit notorious for his good vs. evil style), I'll be hesitant to look at the series without a lot of suspicion.

Destroy will be the canon ending. The kid wants one more story. The only one that could tell the story from the beginning, especially about what happened on the Citadel is Shepard. Shepard survives in high ems destroy. The green and blue was only added so the kids can laugh when they hear the story.

It is really easy to make Control canon alongside Destroy. Shepard alive? He could just have a robotic body built with skin [similar to the body that EDI took control of in 3, but made to look like Shepard]. How to make the Reapers not visible in game? just say the reapers are protecting the galaxy from darkspace as to allow the galaxy to return to normalcy. Have Geth be in the game? in Destroy's ending, just say the Quarians rebuilt them.

But I highly doubt bioware will make the effort since there would also be Synthesis to worry with, and I don't know if they'd take time to give every living person some green circuitry.

I'd rather just have a new Mass Effect story with nothing in it that will remind me of Mass Effect 3 (puke), so how about just a clean slate, maybe a few references or whatever to please fanboys and creepy shippers, let's just tell a new story.
