As awesome as mages are I just cant get into it. My first complete playthrough as a femqunari, I was an archer and I have to say it was awesome. My favorite class however would be warrior "2H". My current playthrough is a Femqunari 2H warrior ![]()

Bull's run for the win.
I gotta have class help
archer or mage?
I have a dw rouge, SnS warrior, TH warrior, elf mage
Sooooo while I never finished an archer run, I have a really hard time seeing qunari as archers
My qunari is an archer, and it's really awesome. If you're in stealth with some high ground, and you fire your exploding shot... Wow, the critical hit can be pretty massive. I just unlocked my long shot and I used it on some unsuspecting enemy for 2033 hit points. That's one of the higher examples. The bigger baddies like giants or demons won't be that high, but still. I took out a bandit with one hit too.
Here's my IQ, Aryelia. Next time I play, I'll have to get a shot of her with her bow.

Got her hair fixed, and I didn't have to go through the pains of recreating her face. I am so friggen happy.
Thought I'd come share this mod in case anyone else has the same issue as me. Love everything but the eye color or hair color and just want to change that little thing. http://daitools.free...2489.html#p2489
It's not like the darker hair was horrible, the lighter hair seems to make her face pop more. The only real downside is that weird clipping where the hair split appears more and she looks like she has a bald spot. I suppose part of the fault is that I brought her forehead more forward, but I hear that even if you leave the forehead alone it still does that to an extent.
When they first announced that we'd be able to choose our race in DA:I I figured I'd choose elf because my favourite warden was an elf and even while playing DA2 I still felt like an elf at heart. The idea of being a Tal Vashoth did interest me but I figured I'd save that for a second or even third play through. But then I found out that the elven inquisitor had to be Dalish which for me changed everything. Despite being Welsh and being a massive fan of Merrill, I fell in love with being a City Elf in Origins which is totally different. So I couldn't bring myself to play as a Dalish Elf (maybe one day) and that's what got me to start my very first inquisition play through as a qunari. I'm actually really glad though because I thoroughly enjoyed it. I dunno if its because I'm only 5ft 2 in real life but I loved towering over everyone as the ironically named Wren Adaar.
As a bonus, Lady Qunari has the best romance with Sera who is Very much a City Elf. Never any shortage of good time with those two.
I did make a Dalish elf playthrough, it as hilarious comparing how tiny she was to the glorious giant that was my Qunari inquisitor. A lot of people make a big deal about how huge the female dalish playthrough is for lore reason, but honestly I enjoyed the Vashoth playthrough far more.
Some of what I like about being a femqunari is the sort of role reversal. What I mean is 9 times out of 10 the guy is taller than the girl, especially when it comes to romance. Also the girl is "almost"always really slim (or skinny if you prefer) with no muscles to speak of. However the Femqunari towers over all men (except for qunari men obviously) and as we all know she is muscular (thunder thighs!!! lol). The romance with blackwall is a prime example of the role reversal. Here we have a manly hairy man who is well mannered (for the most part) who is a great warrior (seriously the best tank imo). Put a femqunari (regardless of class imo) by him and what you have is the ultimate power couple that can take down anything (like I mean anything, it was just me and BW against a dragon because the other companions kept dieing). I mean I could on and on but yea Femqunari FTW !!!! (this is also coming from someone who was dwarf centered, although they are still one of my favorite races)
For whom it may be of interest, a new take on vitaar (in-game, no less!):

As noted in the description, PC-qunari only as of now.

Well I'm about to take my archer gal into IYHSB. Loooooooooove it.
I think a nice party is Blackwall, Bull, Viv for me, or some odd reason LOL. I'm gonna use Cole more, poor kid has got to be less squishy
I love the free point in stealth, long shot is a really nice move too
What's your fav spec? I'm torn between artificer/tempest
For a qunari? I went DW assassin rogue and she hits like a truck. Powerful and deadly. I also like the idea that she's a merc leader who's more roguish and cunning in how she dealt with jobs...it's atypical and I think that's neat.
Pretty much this.

Mage is my fav. My canon playthrough is an elven KE, but I have a right mage qunari as well.
I'm going to end up with a qunari of every specialization, I have a feeling <.< Maybe not templar... then again, it feels like the least logical pick for a Qunari so maybe you could put a spin to it. "I bet I won't get addicted to lyrium - the challenge is on!"
The thing I like about my Vashoth Apostate Imekari is that she is the ultimate outsider hero.
Everyone has a reason to either hate or fear her. The humans see a scary qunari. The qunari see a Tal Vashoth and an un-chained saarebas. Templars see an apostate. According to Solas, the elves believe the qunari to be a savage race kept in check only by the qun.
Now suddenly she is the only hope to save the world. It makes her rather fun to role-play.
Before I unlocked her specialization (Knight Enchanter) I had to stay back in fights which was a bother. But now I can charge in and deal the big hits I am loving it.
Now if only I knew how to mod that blade to make it purple...

Nice!
People are working of various mods for DAI already. I imagine it's only a matter of time before someone does a texture recolor of the KE blade.
Has anyone managed to recreate the FemQunari in the official demo? Goddamnit Bioware, RELEASE THE SLIDERS

A female warrior Qunari would be a mountain of a woman for sure and a mountain I would climb for sure. lol
But, you have to be as tough as a old leather boot. Because that kind of woman isn't going to tolerate a wimp.
What really tickled me about my Qunari was when she leaned down to kiss Josephine, Josephine had to lean waaaaaay back and Althea had to kind of semi-squat and bend over XD
She was such a powerhouse of a character, making snappy comebacks and defending the less fortunate. She wasn't afraid to be vulnerable with her friends, though.

I think Sera might cheat and stand on a box in that situation. Seems just like her, anyway.
She had some suspicious extra inches...
It would be odd if I had any interest to romance Iron Bull - being actually shorter, kind of rare in the game. I think him and that qunari on the Skyhold wall is the only two npcs you're shorter than in the whole game. Well, more or less...
