It's awesome fun. So irreverent and unusual. It's makes for a crazy Inquisition that pretty much turns all preconceptions on it's head.

 

You end up with not one but two Qunari in major roles of this new power in Thedas. I just imagine people assuming you and the Iron Bull are together as a result.

 

But in fact you're actually with the tiny elf eating cookies on the roof. While he's with the Tevinter mage outcast of all people. You could not get a more opposing pairing for the only two Qunari of the entire organization. 

 

In my mind at least, I find this all incredibly amusing.

Yep Qunari feels right for the role, but I am bias

Last night my Lady Adaar met a group of Dalish elves. As she spoke among them one of the Dalish hunters mention how they have heard tales of the Inquisitor, even so far removed from the Shem as they were.

 

"Oh Really? What sort of tales have the Dalish heard about me?" The inquisitor asked, bracing herself for yet more wild stories about her activities.

 

"Mostly that you are very large!" the young Dalish elf exclaimed, his tone held a sense of awe, as if even the tales do not do the might Inquisitor's height justice. Or perhaps he merely did not believe the tales until now, his head leaned back as far as it was.

 

Either way I could not resist the urge to let loose a satisfying giggle fit.

I love my female qunari being a mage- it just seems to fit so well

I like mine (this being my second time playing) but i feel like people talk to me rudely or differently than my elf. I also get different dialogue where I am judged more or say things differently than my elf. Itis odd but makes the game a new experience.

I love my female qunari mage, especially surprising everyone with how she's not a savage qunari looking to behead the first noble she meets. XD Also find it strange how everyone else seems to treat her as an oddity.

 

Also, I know its a glitch, but the metallic hair kinda works well on a qunari, sans the other races who have this graphical problem.

 

 

Sorry for the quality pic however, I play on PS3 and I don't have a screenshot option. All I can do is try and use my phone and hope for the best. Even then, I think she still looks good.

I gotta say; Having a tall, deadly, baddass Qunari woman dancing with the Grand Dutchess in the social epicenter of Orlais was peversively amusing to me.

 

Damn right she was leading.

Wasn't totally perfect but I'm pretty happy with out I managed to turn out my qunari. The ball bothered me though cause in-character she shouldn't give a sh!t about fancy nobles and politics but because of the "court approval" I was pretty much forced to talk nice and there was a big lack of blunt asocial options. If someone says "she must be someone's pet" I want to go all "I heard that puny human, I am *not* a pet" *punch* and when the duchess asks to dance I wanted to just say "No." and keep walking, possibly after pushing her. Also she never would have agreed to change out her armor for a rubbish reason like a noble ball. I don't see how approval of the court or playing "the game" is even important anyway, what are they gonna do honestly ? Throw me out ? How ? By sending guards ? As if guards would stop her /rant

 

She was pretty damn badass overall though

I figured this was a good place to ask, since you grand people may have encountered this unfortunate bug before: has anyone used the British voice for their lady!Adaar? I chose it for my latest Qunari Quizzy and it fits her perfectly... except I'm getting the American combat grunts. Like, British speaking voice, American grunts. Very strange. Anyways, I was wondering if any of you have also had this problem?

Not me...I took Nyreen smexy voice and it fit her.......like a glove

From what I've seen this is a known bug and I believe the Devs are working on a patch which should contain a fix for this. ( Don't quote me on that however. )

 

That said I also went with the American accent since the deeper voice fits better for me.

No I haven't fortunately. Combat grunts are definitely Alix's.

I swear, lady qunari has ruined me for other races!

YEAH!  Finally, a female character everyone can "look up to".  :-D

 

Since I'm 6'1" IRL, this is the first female video game character whose stature feels natural to me.  I can so relate to being head and shoulders above everyone else, people judging you by your height, romance options being shorter than you, etc.
