It's kinda funny when you think about the fact that your qunari warrior would be considered a man if she lived under the qun.

Pfft, that's why the qun is so ridiculous to my qunari ^_^. She's not interested in joining something that has such childish ideas about what women are

"You have short hair and swing a sword? You're a man"

No thanks, she's proud she's a female warrior.

It does make me sad that I couldn't have longer hair options on my Qunari.

So, my qunari lady is called Meraad.

It means "tide". I like the sound of that, like " changing the tides of battle".

But just now, I found out one of the members of the Valo-kas has the same name.

Mind blown.

Also, must... not... agonize... over it...

Oh well. I guess I can easily headcanon something plausible.

I think if there is anything I wish I could have is the option in CC to be able to adjust the depth of the bridge of the nose as opposed the width.  I wanted her to look more other worldly as opposed to horns on a fashion model, if that makes any sense.

You want her to look more like a regular person in Thedas.

Oh, that's not true.

In the first 2 hours of the game, your race already is mentioned like 4 times.

Eh, but then it kind of dies out after that point.  I'm doing my elf playthrough now, and seeing the dozens more times that his race comes up than when I was a qunari.  There's all these special lore and language things that elves get to talk about.  And yeah, our character wouldn't necessarily have connection to the Qun, so a bunch of Qun lore wouldn't fit either, but we would still have an awkward relationship with the human world we're close to, and I wish that could have come up more.  All those times people asked me whether I believed in Andraste, I wish I could have reminded them that the Chant of Light doesn't talk about people like me, rather than a generic yes/no/I don't know.

I don't know, I feel like it's actually kind of lonely to be the only female qunari in the entire game, which is a cool aspect of playing one, but I wish something in the game addressed that.

I get what you mean, actually.  Look at the Arishok.

Other than the permanent angry wrinkle, the bridge of his nose appears to slope down almost directly from his forehead.  It makes him look much more beast-like.  I tried making the bridge of my Adaar's nose bigger too, but all you can do is give it a strong curve.  It still starts from the same depth on your face, so you can't get that clean slope from the forehead.

Playing a Vashoth qunari is a true underdog experience.

You don't belong with your own kind, and you're not truly welcome in the rest of the world either.

The Arishok is male. She isn't supposed to look like him anyway.

This is more like a reference.

Well, I don't see much reason for male and female qunari to look so different, anyway.  I'm not saying we should be able to make a qunari lady look exactly like him, but it's an example of a racial trait I wish we could have replicated.  Noses aren't exactly a gendered thing.

All of those comic panels have the facial features drawn entirely differently, so I don't know if I'd use them as a reference.  The middle right and bottom right are more what I'd like.

I'm enjoying my first playthrough as a Qunquisitor very much.  I particularly like the idea of playing a qunari mage, because I feel that such a character has a unique perspective on the Circle, what with it being much less harsh than the qunari way of handling mages.  Here's Zareen Adaar, my knight enchanter Inquisitor. :)

Really enjoyed my first playthrough, with a female Qunari. The whole look and feel of it with all the social implications was interesting. The lack of unique armour models for her bummed me out, though. Is that a bug? Because having only two or three different armour models sucked.

Anyway, mine, as pictured in my avatar at the moment:

...another gripe I had is that the Rashvine Vitaar is the only one I could actually wear. All the rest made me look like Gene Simmons.

I know the odds are small but do either of you have the sliders for your faces?  These are far and away the best female Qunari I have seen.

Bit hesitant to post seeing how pretty all your inquisitors are... mine isn't. I think mine would have been accepted in the antaam tbh. For their sake. :D

If you read the lore it's even worse. The freemarchs is not a nice play for any form of qunari post 9:35.

Why did I visit this thread again when I'm trying to make my elf playthrough? Your great screens are making me question my resolve.

In seriousness, I am definitely noticing more elf-acknowledgements but I do recall a fair few as qunari for sure.

So anyway, I was lying a bit; I get my fix on my new rogue project:

I just want to be clear, I'm liking this because I like to imagine that someday someone will make a comic about my Qunari and she will look kinda like that.

Oh, did someone ask for sliders?

I wonder if people would like to see some CC sliders?

Hmm, maybe sliders would be nice to share?

Well then ... BAM!  :D

Have her stab things. It's a great stress reliever.

I could not get over the fact the face paint is in every single cutscene, I quit the run before way before Skyhold. At that point I was wearing some awful yellow face paint with black iipstick. Everywhere.

Might end up making a male Qunari mage though, and just don't wear anything on my face.
