I'm having a little hard time with my rogue.

She's lvl 21 and I feel she's too weak (defense, her dps is absurd).

Even mobs 9 levels lower than her make a lot of damage.

I checked her stats and I found this:

Magical Def: -89%

Melee Def: -58%

Ranged Def: -83%

WTF?????????

She's wearing "In death, Sacrifice" (unique lvl 14) armor which has 156 armor raiting and adds 25% melee def; plus a 6% melee def thanks to her headgear.

Her constitution is 11.

Before assuming this is a bug, I believe I did something wrong. I know a rogue is not a tank and his/her defense will be quite low, but I'm sure is not THAT squishy =/

Is your rogue's defenses that low? What armor are you wearing to avoid this?

Thanks!

Rogues are delicate, yes.

But negative defenses? No, I think something is wrong with your game.

Rogues are squishy, no guard or barrier. Try stealth.

rogues takes alot of tactical maintenance than the other classes.. all i can say is use stealth ALOT and upgrade backstab to also give you stealth, upgrade the fangs ability to lower enemy's guard. As for damage reduction study the enemy so you kno when it will attack and bunny hop your way out of its range rinse and repeat.. i agree the dual-blades rogues are very underclassed but you gotta work with you got. the end result will be well deserved.

I'll try to upgrade my stealth, my backstab and fangs are fully upgraded. Anyway, what do you say about the negative valuables?

It's quite weird to have negative % when I use armor and weapons with positive def bonus and/or constitution.

Oh by the way, Sera doesn't have negative valuables. I compared mine to her just to be sure it was only my main character

Berserk is a terrible  enchant, never use it.

I didn't know that. So beserk is actually making me weaker. I though it was funny that my warrior took more damage than usual. Does it even tell you that? Or did I just over look it.

It tells you. The enchant states you gain 10% damage dealt in exchange for 100% damage received, which is a terrible, terrible exchange.   There's even a few items with stronger berserk out there (like +20% for 200%) that make survival even more difficult if you actually equip them.

It makes no sense exchange only 10% of damage for -100% defense... Who would exchange that? If it was 1000% damage in exchange of -100%... well I could consider it, but 10% is a joke. I don't undertand who would use berserker enchant at all.

Thank you all.

I'm pretty sure that everyone here agrees with you.  I have not seen one person who has referred to the Berserker enchantment as a good thing.  Not even circumstantially.  You'd have to be absolutely 100% aggro-proof for it to pay off.
