I'm sorry if this is old news, but has anyone ever looked into a relation between FPS and Banter?
I did some changes to get my game into the 30's at least and capped it there too, and i got some more chattychat... I was playin with 18-25 FPS before

...would also explain why auto graphics settings might help...
My FPS vary between 50-60 (more towards 60 than 50) and I get next to no banter. Mostly. But sometimes... :
Anecdote: I had absolutely no banter again yesterday when playing, even though I repeatedly IDLED in places for 10-20 minutes and switched regions just to hear some banter.
I religiously clean journal/codex/inventory. Then, I Alt+Tabbed to Origin, switched it to offline, reloaded the last autosave. The minute the game was done loading, I got banter, 5 minutes after, again banter, and so on until I had about 6 instances of banter in about an hour of play. Seriously, WTH.... I bet I can't reproduce that, though, because that would be too easy obviously. I'm so far into the game that I feel that I missed so much banter already and want to start over, but... eh.
I keep cleaning codex/inventory/quests but to no avail. Tomorrow I'll try playing offline and see if anything changes, otherwise I'll just shelf it and wait for the next two patches before touching this game again.
Please share if it works and how you went about going offline (taking the PS4 itself offline or just disconnecting DA:I?). I have stopped playing on the PS4 because I couldn't bear the silence. When I last tested it, I got banter even when online, but I get no banter while actually playing so I don't know what's up with that.
