Just curious, i rolled a Necromancer and a few of my NPCs had something to say about it or asked questions (Cassandra, Sera and Solas, so far)

 

Does this happen with others? and other Spec treees?

I had Vivienne and Solas comment on my Knight Enchanter.

Now I'm sad, Solas never commented (Necro) for me.

 

Blackwall, Cole, Sera, Josie and Cass did. I think also Viv, but I'm not sure now.

Solas talks to you about being a knight enchanter he might comment if you pick rift mage. But im just guessing that because he is one.

Necromancer does seem to cause quite a few negative and suspicious comments. Which is natural, given what kind of reputation death magic has. Cassandra actually has some first hand experience with the stuff from her own country.
