My Kieran is a Theirin ![]()
Sometimes I wonder what my Alistair and the HoF are thinking about him.. If they wonder where he is or what happened to him.
Cause you can get Morrigan and Alistair to reunite and talk about him if your Alistair is not king.
But mine is king and so you don't get to see that ![]()

I have one Keiran Theirin, one Mahariel, one Brosca, one Surana and even a Keiran Mac Tir. Kieran Mahariel is the only one who ever gets to know his dad, though. (Also the only one without an Old God soul.)

Doubt that Bhelen will never allow to anyone to usurp his throne, that Dwarf is a badass
Bhelen Aeducan the only true king,Kieran is not even a dwarf.
Bhelen is my best friend he is king of Orzamarr while my warden is king of Ferelden and i have all the interest to let this partnership continue as long as it can,Bhelen i love you bastard.

doubt that it will make a difference since at the end of the game they will all be without the old god soul while Fleemeth will become the "abomination of legends"
what Loghain said in DAO about her (he was right),how many soul she have 3-4-5?

An odd thing to care about from my POV. Does it matter?

In my main Origins playthrough, I really just wanted to save my Cousland Warden and Alistair so they could reign together, get married, be happy, and all that, so poor Kieran was just, like, collateral damage, really. SO NEITHER OF THOSE THINGS IS EVER, EVER, EVER GOING TO HAPPEN (I feel like such a terrible person right now, BUT I HOPE HE NEVER DARES TRY TO STEAL THE THRONE FROM ANY BABY THEIRINS MY WARDEN MAY HAVE WITH ALISTAIR BY NOW).
Poor Kieran.
Now now we can't be silly,Queen Cousland and King AListair will have 0 heir according to the lore, their reign will be sooner over in favor of some other noble in Ferelden while the taint will devour them,if not the Warden sure it will kill Alistair
since the Cousland warden lost their claim as well when they became a Warden.
Totally incorrect, the Warden if a Cousland didn't lost any claim to Highever,Fergus is just the eldest that is why he got first,if he will die with no heir Higever will pass to the Warden.
Considering his mother is Morrigan and he has Flemeth for a grandmother, I'd be shocked if he didn't turn out to be a mage as well.
AND? Considering that they got their magical ability from others being(Mythal),it is possible that Kieran is not a mage in his core.

Yes. If your Cousland is king. It's the closest thing to an heir he's got.

Carver came out from a family full of mages just as Leandra and they are not mages.
The spirit of Mythal has absolutely nothing to do with Morrigan's magical ability. She may not even have anything to do with the magical ability of the body Flemeth/Mythal was inhabiting. It may be that mages are required as hosts.
It may also be that Kieran won't turn out to be a mage, but it would be surprising.

In my games Kieran father is a city or Dalish elf or King Alistair's son. When I play as a dwarf warden its a female.

Kieran is only a Cousland if you're using a worldstate where the Male Human Noble impregnated Morrigan, either just in the romance (in which case Kieran is a normal little boy) or through the Dark Ritual (in which case Kieran has the soul of an Old God).
If your male Warden isn't a Cousland but is the baby's daddy (and more power to you if you went that route), or you got Loghain or Alistair to do the deed, then no.

Did you really think that needed to be pointed out to anyone?

My Kieran is half Dalish and, likely a mage since both his parents are mages. I doubt he will be inhereiting anything, lets just hope he can stay out of the way of the new chantry and Templar order, with Viv as divine, he's got a problem when he gets a bit older.

In my playthrough Kieran is Alistair's son for very convoluted reasons...
First and foremost... I used mods so I could romance Alistair with my male mage and not get dumped for being a mage (with the right dialogue choices).
So when the time came to make the deal with Morrigan, at first I figured I would save Alistair from having to sleep with her and do it myself ![]()
The problem I encountered here is... there's no way to talk to Alistair about it in this scenario and I felt like I was cheating on him and lying to him since he ends up blissfully ignorant at the end of Origins about how you both survived. So I had to go back to an earlier save and go the route that female wardens have to and have "the talk" with him and encourage him to sleep with Morrigan. As distasteful as this was for me, it was the only way I could be totally honest with him. I told him everything about the OGB and what not. Full disclosure. Morrigan even commented "honesty wouldn't have been my first choice", so it made the story really gel well. The fact that I felt the need to be honest with Alistair is the primary reason he ends up as Kieran's father. ![]()
Obviously with DAI's Keep I had to change my warden to female to maintain the story's integrity since it won't account for mods and allow it.

A thing to remember if a Elf and human bond their child will lose all of its Elven features.
This is why the Dalish Keepers and the Alienage elders forbid elven/human relationships. The Dalish Keepers also frown on a Dalish marrying a city Elf.

That's impossible. You can't play a Dalish mage in Origins.

Which is why my Kieran is under the protection of Prince Consort Cousland and Morrigan. He'll be fine when he's older. If he gets caught being a illegal apostate, he can always say "But my mother is the mistress of the Prince Consort of Ferelden, Lady Morrigan will not be happy to know that her son was abucted by Templars."
That's impossible. You can't play a Dalish mage in Origins.
And that too!

d1ta,Would a Dalish mage be the keepers first or second? Any more then that the mage is sent to another clan that's needing a mage for first or second.. If no takers I'm not sure what becomes of the unwanted mage although I don't think what happens to that mage would be pleasant.

Hmm, if Kieran is a Theirin, though--hurr--he's gonna have some strong dragon blood tendencies. Whatever that might be..but with what we found out about the Therin blood line and all that dragon blood.
Ah, that kid will always be my DA son:
