I've been on various game forums since the beginning, I know exactly how this works.

The fanboys just label all criticism as non-constructive, then they feel completely justified in going after the bad old "troll".

Again, it's not my job to tell them how to fix their game, when they send me a paycheck, then it's my job.

I'm completely within my rights to say "this part of your game sucks".

And we're within our rights to say your points are, at best, shallow and pedantic. This whole free speech dealy works both ways babe.

OK...now run along and..

Kill your 10 rams

Collect your shards

Collect your songs

Do your requisitions

close your 50th rift

etc...

Seriously, you live in a false dichotomy.

What is so wrong about asking bioware to improve currently existing features?  Why do you need to rip out features?

I could easily be a reductionist towards Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect games 2 and up.  "Do your requisitions", and,. and...  Oh right, that's tthe only thing left!  Oops, but hey, "quality over quantity" eh?  Because we live in FALSE DICHOTOMIES, and can't think of better ways to solve things.

He labels us fanboys even though, at least speaking for myself, was losing faith in Bioware since the ME2 and DA2 days.  I don't understand why op gets defensive and believes none of us are reading his post and just casting him off.

I find that people who just want to rip out features so hastily is not offering a good solution, it's being pretty extreme.  I don't think op is a troll at all and I feel he/she is being very genuine in what they're saying, but I too have a *right* to bring up a valid point that so far, op has not even tried to offer a proper rebuttal to.  It's not fair that op gets to criticize and we apparently should just sit and watch.  No, that's not what a forum is for I'm afraid.

BTW, ripping out features instead of improving on them was one of the biggest reasons people got pretty pissed with ME2 and Dragon Age 2.  ME3 started to 180 that, but well, ya know...

Now, I'll just go ahead and say this: why aren't we bagging on the horrible multiplayer instead???

I'm sorry if you're easily amused by "go here and kill 10 rats" quests and "go collect all of these pointless things" quests.  Most people aren't.

It's a cheap and lazy way to say your game has more playtime and it stinks of MMO devs making content.

I'm sorry if that russles the underwear of the Bioware Defense Force.

They have done many great things in this game, and the main quest is amazing and most of the companion quests are really good.

But I have no problem telling them part of their content is trash.

It's only the rabid fanboy mindset that thinks anything beyond 100% blind adoration is an attack and take any negative post as an afront to them.

You're the one calling names here. You've been pretty hostile and right from the start you've acted like anyone who disagrees is a "fanboy." This is a pretty silly tack to take on your part and invalidates any reasonable criticism you might have made. Are you that afraid of losing an argument or that uncertain of the argument you're making that you needed to resort to ad hominem attacks on your opponents from the start?

You posted an opinion. Others disagreed with you. If you can't handle the disagreement then why post at all? Unless you've merely been spoiling for a fight all along in which case I'd urge everyone not to waste their time here.

Collection quests and shallow kill 10 of these quests are objectively bad and lazy content.

So yes, it's the fanboys who think Bioware can do no wrong defending them.

Such hostility. I think the thread has ran it's course at this point. There is nothing constructive coming from this. Requested to be locked.
