What have you found so far?

I´d like to ask Bioware who was the one who come up with the H.P. Lovecraft references in the swamp. I think it´s no coincidence that the note in the house is from a Marsh, talks about he Gardners and is in a, well, swamp. Clearly someone wanted to make a homage to Innsmouth. ;)

What else have you found?

MIB: No one of importance.

Inigo: I must know.

MIB: Get used to disappointment.

I found an item with this for the mouse-over "Don't touch my pyramid." I forget the name of the area, it's the one with red lyrium caves.

Not sure what that's about though.

If anyone watched the Green Lantern Animated Series, there's an episode that is centered around the orange lanterns, whose power comes from greed, and the last orange lantern, Larfleeze. In the episode, he kept saying don't touch my stuff or don't touch my shiny. Maybe it's from there?

When you are introduced to Cullen for the first time at the WT (it's when you take the mountain pass and don't see him fighting demons on the way to the temple) he says "Such as they are" in reference to Inquisition Forces, it's the same line Alistair uses in DAO when asked about the Wardens.

There is also Dune reference banter in a sandy area (I think the Oasis)

If you do all missions for recruit Sutherland and keep him and his crew alive until the end, the last war table mission is titled "A Company of Heroes", likely a reference to the book about the company the HBO mini series "Band of Brothers" is based on. There is also a WW2 RTS game of the same title inspired by that book.

When you find the lost ram, Lord Woolsley, the Inquisitor will say "Lord Woolsley, I presume?"   Probably a reference to the popular quote "Dr. Livingstone, I presume?", attributed to Henry Morton Stanley upon encountering the "lost" explorer David Livingstone.

There is Mark's mangled Mace, (the sad weapon) which is a banana on a stick. Possible reference to Jeff Dunham (Jalepeno on a stick is one of his pupets - he's a comedic ventriloquist FYI) Also possibly refers to Any one of the guys named Mark that have worked on the series as something of an inside joke we get to see.

There is the steam punk guy in Skyhold, not sure what he refers to but, it's defo an Easter egg. (Looks like one of the rogue classes from Rift.)

Dorian talks about the cheese tasting of despair.

Cheese is basically everywhere in Crestwood even going as far as there being a cheese shield.

There is a landmark in the western approach that has a codex that states "Can I get you a ladder to get off my back"

Lady in the lake Excalibur reference in the mission http://dragonage.wik...rit_in_the_Lake

I found a small cave behind one of the camps in the Emerald Graves. It's was filled with the severed heads of bears pinned to the wall.

I'm not sure if its an Easter egg, but I did find its placement odd albeit a bit disturbing.

When you send the goat guy to the gibbet, he says gibbet, gibbet!

in a way that sounds just like Ross from friends with the Pivot, Pivot!

it's a stretch, but i found it funny.

Also heard there is a Monthy Python one, im going to search for that.

At Griffen wing keep I seem to recall there is a Sargent McNasty asking recruits what are the three weapons of the inquisition, they answer, fear, surprise and really nice uniforms. That's likely the reference your thinking of.

at the war table

Cullen: I need to check on the tributaries... they need to be calibrated to just the right distance...

Liliana: Again?? How many times must you do that!?

Calibrations :)

Mother Giselle says to Dorian at one point " Your glib does you no credit" - witch is what that mage says to Aliasitar when our warden's meet for the first time.

I'd take that one as an Easter Egg except that it seems like everyone is constantly telling Dorian his glib does him no credit. It probably still counts, but because Dorian can't seem to talk to anyone (or talk to people around other people) without someone bringing it up sometimes...it just feels more like if Alistair couldn't go anywhere without everyone talking about 'swooping' to me. xD

And the ham that tastes like despair...I love that recurring joke more than I should. It even ended up in DAMP.

Cillian:'Has anyone tried the ham back at camp?'
Thornton:'Don't eat the ham, it's never ham.'

Sidony: *groans*
Thornton: 'You ate the ham, didn't you?'

I'm also pretty sure 'steampunk guy' is actually Luka who is the Alchemist from DAMP and tied into Legacy.

In the Sotrm Coast there's a "Watch out for Falling Rocks" sign along a cliff.  And maybe twenty feet beyond is a pile of rocks with a corpse beneath it.
