I've encountered this bug where a quest NPC will teleport to a random location on the map but once I get there they are no where to be seen. Most probably in the void underground. The first time it was for a random power reward side quest, so I didn't think much of it and moved on, but now it's effected a main story NPC and I'm seriously stuck. I've tried reloading multiple times and that didn't work, also moved from map to map and did other quests but he's still absent.

What platform do you have this issue on? I never ran into it on 360, but i can see how that can be annoying.

On PC, unfortunately it's a rather old computer and I have to run the game on low; that could be the issue right there. But on a side note the quest dude did just randomly show up where he was supposed to be!

That's good 
. Older pc could cause issues, esp if it doesn't meet the minimum requirements, but unfortunately the game is rather buggy.
