I recently finished playing through ME1 again on my NG+. Now during my first playthrough I can't quite remember, but I believe I killed off Tali during the mission with the nuke. During my second playthrough (it had been over a year since I created the NG+ which I finished today) I forgot about the mission with the nuke and ended up killing off Kaidan.

I'm not sure if anyone knows the answer to this question or not, but here goes. When I import my save into ME2 will it take into account the decisions I made during the original save or the NG+ or a combination of both?

Only the last playthrough counts. Or rather if you complete a NG+ game you have two character saves. The original play through and then the NG+. Everytime you complete the game, a special save file is written. Thus, you can load up a save game before the final encounter and change your council choice.



Bonus wise, the NG+ will be better then the original. Storywise it though it all depends on that playthrough.





Anyways, Tali isnt the one you can nuke. She is the Quarian Engineer. It is either Ashley or Kaiden.

oh ok, it was a long time ago, i thought she was in my party on that mission. I guess I'll just have to wait and see how everything plays out in ME2

If Ashley is in your party when you bring the nuke out, She will leave the party  to be the Nuke Detonator, and you have to put someone else in the party to take her spot. (And She'll change back to that crappy Phoenix Armor too!)

oh ok that was probably it then. Yeah i saved her over Kaidan due to the whole love interest thing.
