Hi there, I accidentally registered the Cerbereus Network card on the Social Network site and not in game. Now I get key has already been used :(

Is there any fix for me?

It should work the same. I used the Cerberus code on the social site as well and logged in with my EA profile in ME2. It connects to Cerberus, displays news, but can't download anything yet.
EDIT: Nvm, the downloads are now up, when selecting "New content available" in main menu.

hmm, I still get the connect message on the console on the right side of the main menu screen :( it only prompts me to redeem card or purchase cerberus membership.

I'm having the same problem, I registered mine about 8 hours ago, and before it had shown up in the list of redeemed codes, but as an unknown. Now only the CE armor and Dragon Age armor are showing up, and in-game I'm only being prompted to download it.

Maybe it's something related to the collector's edition? :(

Well, judging from the Dragon Age support page, it isn't difficult for them to remove/refund something you've already bought or entered, though they don't have a section up for ME2 yet. I'm going to open up a ticket and see if they can't do something.

Did you raise the ticket at ea.com?

My game only gives me the prompt to download the crashed Normandy site. For some reason, the page that allows you to redownload the content has the games registered under PC/Mac and not Xb360. I don't understand why?

When I registered it on the website it said I unlocked the CE armor as well....sounds like a bug on their end. Would be nice to get some official confirmation from Bioware as to what is going on.

Agreed. I bought the special edition for the armor, after all.

I did this as well with the same problem. Talking to an EA Help person now, but it's not going anywhere...

As you can see, I registered my game but he keeps saying that my game isn't registered.

Even game developers can do this by accident with their home copy ... *Sigh*.

Honestly, this is just BS. I don't see why this has to be so complicated to unlock DLC that I PAID FOR.

You one of the guys that worked on ME 2?

If so you should go smack the guys that did the cerberus network stuff upside the head for botching something as simple as this because there is no reliable tech support from EA and our only real hope is for Bioware to have done it right in the first place or fix it quickly.

It went no where, a whole lot of run around. I asked him if he could just unregister my Cerberus Network code and he told me I'd have to wait 24 hours before my game shows up as registered. Umm, what?

Posted Image Martin: Hi, my name is Martin. How may I help you?
Posted Image : Hi, my Cerberus Network code seems to not be working for some reason
Posted Image : I entered it in the social site, and not in-game, so maybe that was the issue
Posted Image : Either way, in-game it keeps asking me for the code and when I type it in, it says it's already being used
Posted Image Martin: I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced.
Posted Image : It's alright, it's an awesome game but it'd be nice to get the DLC for it :)
Posted Image Martin: Have you registered the game /
Posted Image Martin: ?
Posted Image :
It's registered on social.bioware.com, which is linked to my EA
account.. but the webpage times out here when I click on the register
link
Posted Image Martin:
I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. In order to assist you
with this issue, we request you to please provide us with the following
details:-

Registration code(20 digit alpha-numeric code):
Your Ea.com email account name:
Your email id listed on account:
Your date of birth:
Your Zip code:
Posted Image Martin: Thanks for verifying the information.
Posted Image Martin: It seems that you have not registered the game.
Posted Image Martin: Please registered the game first and then try to play it.
Posted Image : Hmm, the registration on the BioWare site doesn't count?
Posted Image Martin: Please wait while i check this site.
Posted Image Martin: As i have checked this site ,it is working fine .
Posted Image Martin: Please registered the game again.
Posted Image : When I try to register on ea.onlineregister.com, it doesn't give me an option to input the registration code
Posted Image : Platform: PC, and Game: Mass Effect 2, and then there's no text box
Posted Image Martin: Please register the game from www.social.bioware.com.
Posted Image : Registered
Posted Image : Posted Image http://social.biowar...22420/#bw_games
Posted Image Martin: After that try to login in a game with e-mail address and password.
Posted Image : Hmm, it's still telling me I have to buy the Cerberus Network
Posted Image Martin: Have you registered it now ?
Posted Image : Yes
Posted Image Martin: Please wait while i check .
Posted Image Martin: I have checked in our database and found you haven't registered the game .
Posted Image : But I did, I registered through social.bioware.com
Posted Image : Is there a way you can just unregister the Cerberus Network code that was used on my account?
Posted Image Martin: If you have registered the game right now ,then it will update with in 24 hrs.
Posted Image Martin: You will get the confirmation e-mail from EA side with in 24 hrs.
Posted Image :
Will my Cerberus Network start working then? When I put the code in, it
told me it unlocked the Collector's Edition armor and weapon, which
seems like a bug
Posted Image Martin: Yes.
Posted Image : Alright then, thanks

I don't see how that matters.  We have the damn cerberus code!  We registered it on the website!
It should allow us access in-game but it seems someone in the coding dept botched it royally.

The card even says to register it on the website.

I won't be rebuying it.
What I will be doing if it isn't fixed is sending in tickets until it does get fixed and keep this thread alive.

Perhaps Mark would be kind enough to talk to someone when he gets in the office tomorrow? *crosses fingers*

Brenn86, I didn't actually work on ME2 ... but I do work for BioWare. I am just pointing out that I'm in the same boat as you guys ... and it's something I'll go ask someone about when I get to the office in the morning.

No smacks upside the head, though ... I've probably deserved more than my fair share in the past. ;-)

perhapts they SHOULD have staff on for their midnight launch dealing with these issues.
You don't go through any midnight game release and leave your offices unstaffed.

just....this feels like RtO all over again.

Thanks Mark, much appreciated.  I'm just surprised they don't have staff in house for a midnight release.
