Here's a step-by-step for me:

1. Started Installing Mass Effect 2: Collector's Edition on my PC
2. Logged onto my account here and registered my copy of ME2: CE for PC
3. Redeemed code for Terminus Armor and Collector's Edition Items
4. Redeemed code for Cerberus Network, and it gave me the link to the Collector's Edition Item Download
5. Started ME2 up after install completed and logged into this account ingame
6. It asked me to redeem my Cerberus Network card, and tells me the code has already been used

This is exactly me.

PC CE from GameStop.



1) Loaded up the game and from the main screen I chose the Cerberus Network option.

2) From there I logged into my EA account and entered my Cerberus Network activation code, all within the game. It worked.

3) However, that whole time my resolution was set to normal, and I have a widescreen. I exited out of the game to fix that issue in the config window.

4) After changing the resolution, I loaded Mass Effect 2 up again. From the main menu, the game gives me the option to sign in to the Cerberus Network, although I'm already (automatically) logged into my EA account. I click the Cerberus Network sign in button, and it asks me to register my code--again. So I register the code again, and it says code already in use. I'm still logged into my EA account at this point.



I'm at a loss and don't know what to do, as hundreds of others don't. My bonus content still works, I just can't use the Cerberus Network and must go outside the game on the web, which I have no problem with but for the sake of immersion with the game, and to keep up to date with everything I have yet to download, I would dearly like this problem to be addressed.

Same problem here, registered game, redeemed cerberus code on social.bioware.com, started up game - it asks me to redeem the cerberus code again...says its already in use. Can't connect to cerberus network content.



Hope EA comes up with fix soon.

Activated it here in the social.bioware site but can't log into the Cerberus Network. It indicates that I have to "Activate" it. When I use the code in-game, it's telling me that code has be used.

Yes im logging in with my EA account that I used to register the said codes. I did not have any problem with DA:O when I redeemed my codes

You don't go through any midnight game release and leave your offices unstaffed.

They probably do have staff on hand for the midnight launch.  But it takes time for them to look through initial feedback, identify problems and find out how widespread they are, and then come up with a solution that's better than fixing it on a case by case (as in one game owner at a time) basis.  The game has only been launched for a couple hours and it seems like they're getting a handle on what the problem is, so most likely they're deliberating on solutions and will have something during the day.

Given how important this game is to Bioware and EA, I don't doubt that they'll find a way to address the issue quickly.  After all they're in the business to make money, and game companies don't make money when gamers are pissed off and stop buying their games.

I went on a computer online to register the the Cerberus Network and Terminus set and ended up making a social account and putting the codes through there instead of XBOX Live which the cards that I got from the gamebox and Gamestop led me to believe I should do.

Could you possible send me new codes or reset the ones I have? When I try to go into Cerberus On XBOX360 I get a message saying that the account is already in use.

Since you requested specifics I ordered my copy for the pc through the ea store. The game is retail version delivered to my house, country is Canada. Also curious how i obtain my inferno armor, but that is secondary. Added Cerberus code to the social network and since then, it wont accept it in game, and no download is available.

Installed the game redeemed code via the social network. Downloaded blood armor and terminal armor. Could not log in via the game to the cerbrus network.

Ok this is my problem. I some how have two accounts one for my psn and the outher is for my xbl gamertag. I put the codes for the termius gear and the ceberus network on the one with the psn account.(at the time I did not know I had anouther account set up for my xbox live. I cant put my xbl gt on the one with the psn account scine it is in use. can BioWare transfer the codes to my outher account or something?)

i bought my mass effect 2 for the 360 at gamestop just the regular $60 game had the terrminus gear code it sayed to go online and redeem it i did and i also redeemed my creberus network code so now i bought the gamme and apparently i have to spend $15 to get the cerberus network on my xbox because it is active on my pc wtf please some one help whit this because i think its all kinda crap why couldent i just redeem them both on my xbox i belive this would make more sense.

I have the same problem. The in-game Cerberus Network keeps asks me to redeem or buy it. I have already registered so why does the game not recognize it???

This is my exact problem. I bought the collector's edition for the PC. I first registered all my other DLCs (terminus, blood dragon, and collector stuff), and then when I went to input my Cerberus code, it just led me to the collector's armor download link. Was a little bit confused.

Then I booted up the game, logged into my EA account, and then entered the Cerberus code, and it said "Code in Use." I'm not sure if my EA and BioWare account are linked though. How can I check that? Also, I'm at work right now, so I can't PM the code until I get off.
