The issue is on the PC version (Collector's Ed) as well. Store purchase (asian edition).



Redeemed the code in the Cerberus dialog box in the social website and it gave me collector's armor. (possible bug?)



I next redeemed the separate collector's armor code, which went through. (does nothing since i already have the CE armor from redeeming the 'Cerberus' network code)



Other redeem codes (pre-order, blood dragon) are ok.



Registered the main game as well.



Started the game itself, logged in my EA account.

It asks for the 'Cerberus' network redeem code. I enter the code.

Reponse - 'code is in use'.



Clicking 'Connect' in the cerberus button sends me back to the code remdeption/purchase points screen.

I'm having the same issue -- except mine is with the 360 version of ME2. I used the Cerberus Network card tied to my (EA Community registered) game on the community site FIRST -- then I was prompted for it in game and it is saying it was already in use, and cannot be accessed from Shepard's terminal in-game.



Second, I had Terminus Armor and Blackstorm promo codes from the GameStop I just picked the game up from -- and they are said to be currently in use as well! What in the world is happening here?



I suggest you reset these codes, because it seems most of your customers who cared enough to pre-order this game are being robbed of the content that made it enticing in the first place. : /

I got the PC CE from Gamestop. I put my Cerberus network code in and all it did was unllock the CE armor and gun. When I sign into my EA account in game it acts like I never have used the code. I try to put my code in and it tells me its already in use.

exact same for me really want to start playing but want to wait until I have all my content

Same problem as everyone else for me. Registered Cerberus Network Card on this site, now I can't login to Cerberus unless I purchase a redemption code or enter a brand new code, says the one I entered is in use.

THATS IN GAME, NOT ON SOCIAL.BIOWARE



I cannot access cerberus network.

I bought a retail copy of the Collector's Edition (Asian edition)

I register the code at the social site.

it gave the Collector armour link which I thought came with the Cerberus Network.

then when boot up the game the 1st time it says to register for Cerberus Network

Try the code again and it says in use

Restarted machine and registered game on social site

No change



Time to play the game minus enhancements

Mine was Gamestop. I put in my cerberus network code, but unlocked my CE armor and gun. Yet I have another thing with a code for the CE armor and gun. I tried putting that code in the ingame thing to see if they somehow got the codes switched or something but that is not the case.

I bought my PC Collectors edition from Game Stop. Upon using the code on the back of the Cerberus Network card, it gave my the CE armor, a second time.

I did the same thing at the person in the quote did, and I used the code from the cerberus network card that was in the classified Cerberus Network personnel only, and that is what gave me the collectors armor.

I bought mine from an EA Store's Malaysian affiliate

Yeah, I followed the card and registered on the website, then downloaded all the DLC from the website before I had even installed the game. Since I also had the preorder code from Gamestop, I had 'Terminus Weapon and Armor', 'Zaeed - The Price of Revenge', and 'Normandy Crash Site' available for download. After the game was installed I went ahead and installed all my DLCs too. When I started the game it prompted me to login to my EA account, which I did. I didn't get any further messages or a prompt to enter my Cerberus Network code. However on the left side of the screen I was getting news feeds and the like and the little 'Cerberus Network Activated' box above the news feed. I'm also getting the 'New Content Available' message.

When I click the message, it brings me back to the social network website and has the same three DLCs listed which either means I just haven't downloaded them with the game installed yet and it's nothing to worry about or I'm missing something I should have. If I have the Standard retail PC version of the game, is this what it should look like? Google is unfortunately not very clear about the matter and I'm not exactly sure what I should be getting in the first place.

To make a long story short, I have no idea if everything worked correctly or not.

To Michael Gamble,

When is the issue of "Code Already in Use" going to be addressed?

I went ingame without doing anything else. I clicked Connect to Cerberus. I entered my EA account credentials. It went on to ask for my key. I entered my Cerberus Card key. It seemingly took me back to the main menu. It has the option of "New Content Available", but that was always there. Also, when I click it, it just takes me to my account on this site and shows me my DLC download options. It says nothing of Normandy Crash or Zaeed, it just shows the Collector's armor and Terminus Gear, both of which I registered after, independent of this Cerberus Network hangup. There was no code mixup for me, just the network refusing to recognize my Cerberus code.

So again, when will this issue be addressed? There's mostly only concern for people who got Collector's armor or whatever instead of Cerberus access. What about no Cerberus access at all?


Edit: To clarify, this is what the page I'm sent to looks like when clicking "New Content Available".

WOW I'm really in for some pain and frustration once this arrives I can already tell! What ever happened to the codes you get with the game that you just enter ingame and there's ur stuff? What's with all the registering here and logging in there!!?? WTF

PC collectors edition, from US gamestop. Registered cerberus key on the website, but it isn't showing up on my account. Trying to re-enter it ingame gets a "key is already in use" error message. Other DLC worked fine, and show up in game, but when I try cerberus it tells me to enter a key or buy it from the site.

Cerberus key was sealed, in box.

Michael Gamble and I are looking into the problems you are experiencing. Right now its about gathering information and looking for the the trends. We really appreciate your patience while we figure whats going on.

I just cracked open a new game myself which I bought in Edmonton tonight. I did register my code in game and Cerberus activated fine. I know that doesn't help those of you experiencing issues, but we will figure it out and have the information posted as a sticky as soon as we have more.

Any information you can provide on where you purchased from and how you activated would be much appreciated.

Add my situation into the mix. 

I also purchased my copy from gamestop, registered all the DLC, and the Cerberus card last, but it didn't even show up as a 2nd collector's edition armor, just...nothing. 

The cerberus network still shows as that I have to purchase it and my cerberus code shows already used.
