Does Solas ever mention his life outside of the Fade? (*ending spoilers*)

I'm on my second playthrough and befriending Solas once again, but I just noticed that when you ask him personal questions to get to know him all his replies are related to the Fade. When you ask if he's always travelled alone, he says no but that his friends were spirits. If you ask him where he's studied, he mentions ruins and stuff in the fade. Like has he not lived in the physical world at all? The only thing I could get from him is saying he's from a "small village in the north" but that's it.

I am aware of the post credits cutscene and his identity but does this not mean that he has lived a mortal life? He must have if he is there in seemingly mortal form with the Inquisitor. There isn't much prior evidence to him being a spirit either. Is Falon'Din a spirit? If so that would imply he is an elven god and not just an important elven figure.

Well I think he avoids talking about his "normal life" because that'd probably clue you in pretty fast that he's not all he appears. You'll note he's very careful when saying anything about himself. His one fixed reference to his life, the village where he grew up, turns out to be a ruin. According to Solas's codex entry after the end of the game, Leliana sent agents to check it out after he disappeared and it looked like nobody had lived there in hundreds of years.

But I also think it's because he's a total nerd and would rather talk about the Fade anyways. :P
