I feel like they listened to fans quite a bit. I feel like a lot of changes were made for the better. I think this game is worlds better than DA2 and I feel like DA is back on track.
Obviously there are some changes that really drag the game down...such as removing healing for example. What is that....., but still overall its a lot better than the last DA and even though the grinding can be tedious I do like the game and I am glad I bought it overall.
The not getting the key that constantly happens in MP in infuriating though. I hope the MP isn't a repeat of ME3 and certain guns and classes are nerfed to bad they are a bore to play and never get used If that doesn't happen then the MP is yet another positive from the game.
I think once some patches come out and things get fixed up a bit its going to be a killer game.
