Prinze's grandpa voice that he uses for Bull sounds so unnatural to me. I can't help but feel that the character would have gotten more justice from a voice actor like Jamieson Price, maybe.

I just can't see a qunari with that voice. I never bother to recruit him, don't think I ever will. I like FPJ, and Vega, but just can't take him seriously as a Qunari. Don't even get me started on Bull's Harry The Hunter head.

Really?  I thought Iron Bull sounded great... a whole lot better than he did in the old Hinterlands demo... he sounded strange back then, and it seems like Mr. Prinze Jr. changed the way he did the voice or something, but maybe I'm imagining things.

I saw some behind-the scenes video of him recording some lines and it sounded really good. It does sound a bit weird in game to me, though I've only had a limited interaction with Iron Bull so far.

Aw, I like him! Which is funny because I've always loathed Prinze, Jr. onscreen.

I am the exact opposite. I hate mister generic man's voice and loved the Bull's.

I like his voice acting both as Vega and Bull. They both sound very different with Bull he's a bigger powerful guy so he needs a deeper more booming voice and he made it work. He's not your usual stoic Qunari either so he needed to have a more warm voice and i think he does a great job of making Bull Likable. I think all the voice acting in the game is really good and the voices suit the characters.

'Lets find the dragon"...one of the worst delivered lines of all time. I burst out laughing when it happened. Just imagining FPj sitting in a VO booth trying to keep a straight face!

 

 

He is good overall though.

Freddie was well suited for Lieutenant Vega.

 

Here he is kind of unnatural. At the least his voice should have passed from some filters. Making it more qunari like. Sort of what was the case with the turians in ME.

Iron Bull's voice worked for me, different from other Qunari like Sten and the Arishok, but then again he is a very different sort of character so that wasn't a big deal for me.

Not sure if it's mentioned elsewhere, but just seen that FP Jr has spinal surgery for some reason last week, so hope he fixes up soon anyway.

I have to agree with the OP, if anyone asked me what I disliked most about the game I would choose that. Only on the fact that it removed me from the immersion of the game.

I think he did a great job. His voice really suits Bull's character.

Also, Bull's pretty awesome, although I was sceptical of him earlier - trailers and earlier gameplays didn't do him justice.

Im the other way. I wasn't really a fan of Vega, but Iron Bull i like.

I like Iron Bull alot. Personaly, I think Freddie is doing an amazing job with Iron Bull. When they said Freddie was going to voice Iron Bull, I had my doubts, but his preformance as Iron Bull blew me away.

I mean in that unlike quarian and Turians they dont sound "different"

Everytime I hear him talk I can't help but think of a kid trying to do a grown up voice. It's just so offputting.
