I've been using KB & M since starting but last for reasons I tried changing to using a wired XBox 360 controller.
However after changing over the menu prompts changed to A - B and then proceeded to ignore all further input completely.
I had to use Task Manager to close it down and get out of the menu.
Restarting gives me the Prompt to press start which it ignores. With the Controller plugged in or out there is no response to any keys at all. The controller works fine with other games. But I uninstalled and re-installed it anyway.
I've tried restarting, repairing game files and even re-installing all leave me locked out of the game and unable to get past the Press Start on the opening screen. The only step left to me that I can think of is deleting my profile.
Did no one at Bioware consider that you might want to be able to get into the game without a controller EVER! after choosing one.
Oh just in case Windows 8.1 64bit
Edit : Deleting my profile in Documents/Bioware/Inquisition/Saves fixed the problem
