Hello

For my next playthrough I was hoping to play as a more chaotic/evil character. Is this possible as the game progresses? I am currently playing as a relatively good person but have so far seen very little opportunity to be a ruthless ****. A nasty inquisition could be fun!

For a "Nasty Inquisition" is seems to just turn the game into lack luster, with you missing out on perks, companions leaving, etc.

 

Can you still play it? sure, but most of your companions will hate you, and or leave the Inquisition.

 

Plus you will not have many supporters from the Public. Or Inquisition agents.

Ok thats good to know. I was holding back on some side quests as I wanted to play them a certain way but I can go ahead and play them as a good character.

A corrupt Inquisition would be very interesting if the mechanics were put in place however. Would definitely buy that as an expansion in the future.

My second playthrough Im going to be playing a Mecernary whos only reason to stick with the inqusition to gain power. Demon/mage hating as well. Pro chantry. Noble. Mean guy kinda thing,

Pfft. What? You kidding? All you gotta do is just be nice to the companions you want to keep and be a jerk to the ones you don't. Just think of all those homophobic players out there.
