I wouldn't mind an option like that to watch the surroundings, but I wouldn't play in first person view for this game to be honest. Doesn't seem like the type of game built for that.

There are a lot of little things "hidden" in the background that I would like to see better. Small portraits, book covers, little details in decor. They're there, they look stunning but I can't look at them more closely. For instance, I am certain I saw a orange -haired woman wielding a sword in some book cover, but couldn't tell for sure.
