I cannot figure out how to get out of the Nightmare with the templars. I am at the cells, and I found the veil fire, but have no clue what to do know. Can anyone please help?

Never mind. Geez. Did someone not understand the word "clue"? I hate spending all this time running in circles and hoping to stumble on something.

there is a lever to open a gate at the top of the stairs. Watch out for the explosion immediately after pulling it.

I eventually found a stairway heading up a level that I must have run past a few dozen times before seeing it.

I finally found it. I wish they had given some clue or map indication, as I spent way too much time running in circles in that wooded area, and losing health and using up all my potions. That was not fun. But past that now.
