This is my lovely Qunari.

Spent 2 hours getting it exactly right in the character creator. When the first rays of light hit her face outside the prison room, I sank back in horror. Her makeup was accentuated to the point of making her look clownish.

The same thing happened in my DA:O playthrough with my elf's neck and I suffered through it.

Please implement a way to adjust character creation, even if it's a 1-use in-game item. I just lost motivation to play this weekend, although I'm sure it's an incredible game. I'll get to it, but please consider adding this feature soon.

OMIGOSH, this times a thousand.  I don't know how many hours I spent remaking my char, starting from scratch.  Having a saved face code would help TONS!

What I ended up doing was playing the game fullscreen windowed, and taking a screenshot (prntscrn) of almost every single page on the editor. Next time I made a character, I would open the screenshots up fullscreen in the background, and put my mouse cursor on the dot, then alt-tab back in game and click the mouse.

A bit of a pain in the ass, but it works out if it's all your looking for.

Yes, the game needs some way to let us reuse what we've spent time making.  It somehow slipped my mind to record all the sliders once I got my Inquisitor looking satisfactory.  (Ok, actually it is already too late once he's satisfactory in game.)  Now I want to use the same Inquisitor in a new play through and wish I could copy him over or have a face code to work with.

Seconded.

Looking at Playthrough States indicates (i.e. 2 dudes instead of female Warden and Hawke next to DA:I character) I didn't import my saves from Keep despite game vaguely telling me some unknown world state of mine was imported.

I spent some time in character creator to come up with right face features after 3 or 4 unsatisfactory tries. I would really appreacited if the game supported at least display and import of face code like it did in Mass Effect 2. It will be next to impossible to recreate the face given 90% of attributes are based on horizontal-vertical slider :(.

Yes, pretty please! An import character feature and a magic mirror or whatever to edit faces in game.

+ 1

The funny thing is that the CC must have a save preset option (they used this tool to generate the preset models we have) but they let it out of the game. So my guess is that they wouldn't need to really implement anything to add it, just allow the full features of the CC in game.

Something so easy that will make customers a lot happier.

Looks like the developers working on DAI Tools are close to getting us something. They have a save game reader, and they found all of the chargen stuff. See here:

http://daitools.free...en-xml-t84.html

I'm sure a way to copy that data from one save to another isn't far away.

Plus make it possible to get the code for a character's face mid-game so that this can be used with all savegames, not just those who are beginning a new character.

The chargen stuff is already located and readable, it has a ton of sliders and some are two dimensional / true color selectors so the XML is pretty long.

There's people working on moving those faces into other saves right now, for now let's just have a collective hug ready for when they do.  ^_^

I hope they'll be able to make them presets, too.

I need this like whoa.

I tried to remake my Lavellan yesterday and I got him to look like... 97 percent the same, but it still looks off and it's bugging the crap out of me. I can't even enjoy the cutscenes because he does not look like he's supposed to, even if the changes are minimal.

I'm holding off on my second PT until a face import/export becomes available, whether it's an official one or one made by the awesome people working on the Tools, because I have literally zero interest in making a new character right now.

*crosses fingers*

The import/export and mirror face change thingy are a must have. I can't phantom why Bioware didn't work on this before the game release.

Ditto.

I tried to remake mine too but I couldn't even get it 97 percent the same.

Maybe like 60.

I was so mad. I love my Lavellan. Ridiculous amounts.

Would be a good addition but if they can't, at least provide us a mirror. >> That's what I'm going to be doing. Screenshoting all of the sliders beforehand and then use Photoshop to overlay it ontop of the current sliders in windowed mode to see if the points match or if not are really close.

The question is when is that mirror, or anything importing related is going to be released though. @_@ *prays for before 2015*
