I see an expansion on the horizon. I don't think it'll be announced for sometime though. Better to work on it and announce it when they're wrapping up. And this is a game I'll gladly drop $60 on two full expansions.

I'd give my legs for one more hour of content.

I think an expansion is likely. Both because fans are demanding it, and because we know that they have always intended to do expansions with DA. There was one booked for DA2, but eventually was cancelled due to the mess that was the second game.

I would expect something like awakening, except perhaps with a returning party. [Why else leave them out of the epilogue?] Maybe an additional character or two.

I don't know about all that, but two expansions with forty hours worth (total) sounds good. And I hope they don't feel the need to rush it to cash in on DA:I's success. I'm willing to wait and Skyrim proved that a lot of other people are too.

I'm actually interested in going back to Kirkwall with Varric like he said - the place must be completely different.

No, anything but that pisshole. I had enough of Kirkwall since DA2 there is nothing good in that miserable crumbling city , and I'm real sick of fetch quests, reuse environment, picking up junks, and enemy that fall from the sky. If anyone is suggesting Kirkwall. I'm considering aiding Sebastian take that city just to see it burns. If there are to be an expansion that take place beyond Orlais or Ferelden. I vote for Anderfels, I would like to discover what the hell is going on with the Wardens, and Stroud, Loghain, Warden Alistair and even Hawke (assuming he/she wasn't left behind).

Beside...

As for expansion setting ideas: Nevarra, Kal Sharok, or wherever the Hero of Ferelden went.

I was under the impression Bioware said they wouldn't be doing any full on awakenings style expansions for this game?

If they have one I would definitely buy it. I hope it would have more continuity to the Inquisition then I felt that awakenings had to Origins. (The stories seemed disconnected to me- maybe because most of the companions changed.)

They might change their minds. If they take it slow on the DLC front I can see at least one expansion down the road. If they go for the cash grab then we'll get small three hour DLCs which will be a huge disappointment IMO.

And I agree with getting the gang back together. While I do like Awakening's crew a lot of Origin's story arcs were sort of left dangling because of them.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for changed minds then. I feel like most DLC is so over priced, for DA I always buy it because I don't want to miss out. But I almost always feel ripped off in the end.

I want them to Baldur's Gate this. Give us a sequel and a few expansions.
Seriously, I'm almost attached to this character as I was to the Warden.
Also, tell us what happened to Kate Mulgrew's future career as a VA with The DA series. I MUST KNOW

Oddly enough, while I'm attached to my Inquisitior. It is nowhere near the levels of my Warden/Hawke or my companions. For example

Source? All I heard is that there wouldn't be any DLC companions a la Shale or Sebastian.

Well no DLC companions means that either we get him back or we'll have to live with only 2 mages. :/

I think I read it somewhere on this forum- no source. Hence the "I was under the impression"

After seeing your comment though I did decide to look it up. It seems Bioware hasn't thought that far ahead in terms of SP dlc.

With how open the ending felt, I think they have room for all sorts of DLC and expansion options! :)

I want a full fledged expansion that adds a good 15 hours or so and I would also not mind a few 3 hour DLC's that flesh out some of the regions in the game more.

I wouldn't mind a few DLC missions for the maps we barely touched so we have a place to funnel all the extra power we got closing rifts, AND an awakening-style expansion. Corypheu's final battle was way too short, it needs to come back and bite me in the ass. Or maybe we find the Architect or one of his disciples!! If he's a magister like Cory, he could have body-surfed somewhere else. It would be grand if he had possessed our Warden, if we chose to kill him.

Ah, and a casual, story focused dlc. with more romance stuff. i so want to meet the in-laws, so to speak.

Hopefully, but not like Awakening where it's separate from the main game. Maybe like 4-5 new regions where the new stuff takes place, but we can still go back and explore and do sidequests in the vanilla areas

I'd sacrifice one of my authors...wait, scratch that - they do pay me for my formatting even though I don't like all of them. Umm, how about chocolate truffles? Because I am willing to bribe BW with killer bacon-infused chocolate truffles if that will work.

I really hope they follow through with the whole warden plotline. I would love a warden centered expansion based around the Calling, with Morrigan. Leliana, and Alistair returning as party members and a cameo from the Hero of Fereldan. That I would pay good money for.

A true expansion similar to Awakening would be amazing, and I'd love for it to be Anderfels/Weisshaupt like they hinted. Except I wouldn't want a new party like they did there. I need more Cassandra and Dorian.

I've mentioned this elsewhere. I'd like to see the rest of Val Royeaux in an expansion, and if the story allows it, kick off by having the Inquisitor attend the official proclamation of the next Divine. :)

I want to see all of Val Royeaux in at least one DLC. The area that they gave us, doesn't do it enough justice. It makes sense for the noble's quarter/neighboorhood. But I want to see the grand cathedral. I want to see more of the 'game' I want more of olaisian intrigue :)
