In my first game (that i didn't finish) i found this staff that i really liked because it heals HP on hit.
In my secondo game i didn't find it even if i did more things!
The only quest i haven't done yet is the mission in Orlais (emperor Celene etc) and i didn't do the quest when you choose the mage because this time chose the templars,to change something.
Do you know this staff and where it is?
Also i didn't find the potions that gives elemental resistance.....can you help?
There are several materials that will give heal on kill, and some fade touched masterwork materials that will give heal on hit or guard on hit. I have also come across several random drop staffs that give these effects.

yes heal on kill i know but it's not what i want
Heal on hit:i know late game i should find something for it but i have found this staff warly in the game.
do you think items are random every game?
Fade touched Snoufleur skin: On hit, heal 1% of maximum health. Just hunt snoufleurs in the exalted plains after arriving at skyhold.
ok but that staff already had that enchantment...i can't believe noone found it
RNG is RNG.
If you found it from a chest and it wasn't a fixed drop from killing very specific enemies like High Dragons and certain bosses then it was random.

Could be. I've gotten multiple copies of the exact same rare (blue) staff like 10 minutes apart from random drops. I'm guessing there's some combination of hard-coded and RNG drops for blue items - so while there might be some place you always get it, most of the time it's just random chance.
I have the vigorous staff. I don't remember exactly where I go it, but I haven't gone into too many locations yet. I had to have gotten it either at the masquerade ball quest or the storm coast, hinterlands or the place that begins with an F...fallow mire? I think I had it before I went to that oasis place.

Masquerade ball?? what is ti? you mean the quest in Orlais (Winter Palace)?
