Hello,

I don't agree with the missing (absence) of "HAIRS" on some women in Inquisition...

Some women (elvens also) don't have hairs...

Was EA or Bioware so hurried (eager) to put a new Dragon age on the Market, to forgot the hairs on womens ?

One say "Hairs is the half of the beauty on women", And may be on mans (man whithout hair can be very charming also), but woman without hairs ???

And another thing, where is the beauty of the elvens which was constantly here in DAO, and their beautiful and so charming blue, or green eyes in DA2 ?

I also have notified absence of hair on woman in Multiplayer...

The Archivist (the 1st character with we get, an Elven magician) don't have hair... and look like an anorexic women, may be an anorexic man ...

Can you fix this please ? please Bioware...

;)

So you want BioWare to change certain character's look because you personally do not think they look beautiful?

Well, this thread should be fun.

You are entitled to disagree but they aren't going to fix this for you.

You never know some DLC may include new hair later but right now you get what you are given.

I'm ok with the damn good shape of Vivienne :) but with hair, it would be better...

- Take a look at the Female Elven Archivist in Multiplayer - Is it really a female ? The elves are just smaller than humans, but with good shape (proportions), and usually they look more beautiful

->In DAO, Remember Lanaya the Dalish how she was beautiful, or their eyes in DA2 _>remember Merril Eyes ..

- The miner woman in Oasis... It is a man (with chest), but with a female voice, and it you look carefully the shadow on his cheeks, and cheekbone give the feeling she have a beard (de la barbe)...

For me, they have forgotten the hair mapping... and there is a problem with shades... and texture renderer (but this is another point) ...

Bioware is known for having horrible hair choices... now that I think about it, alot of the western rpgs (single player) with character creations have horrible hair choices. Both Bioware and Bethesda need to hire someone for the hairstyles.

My gripe with this is directed more towards our character, but since most npcs have access to the same abysmal selection we do, I think it still applies.

I don't understand why they didn't at least include some of the old favorites from Origins and 2. They have reused several clutter assets from DA2 that I've seen and some of the returning Origins characters have their iconic hair that used to be available to us. In the past, any shortcomings in the chargen department typically got addressed quickly by the creative fans and a toolkit, but who knows if we will even see one of those.

Anyway, when both genders share all the same hairstyles, and half of those hairstyles are slightly different variations of just-about-bald headed, I think the gripe is valid. I don't begrudge those that love a scantily clad scalp, but a little more variety could have gone a long way. I would have loved some of the longer options from DA2, and the "Anora" hairstyle from Origins would have suited my circle mage just fine. You can sculpt your character's face down to the very last detail if you wish, and that's great, but the lack of hair options just seems to make all that effort a waste for me.

Both genders didn't get enough hair options that would be satisfactory compared to other RPGs on the market.

Just because you believe only women should have a lot of hair options, while it is ok for men to have little to no hair options, doesn't mean it should be a standard. Also, just because you think bald women are mindboggling while bald men are charming doesn't mean video games and media in general should heed your advice, you didn't make a very good argument.

Sure, me too, but this one, we can see all the details of her cut face, and also the make-up, in contrary to the graphism of DAI... many peoples have seem disappointed by the graphic rendering of the game (for a end 2014 game, it look like a 2010 game)

May be it is for this reason i am disturbed by absence of hair of some NPC, the details of their face isn't rendered correctly (not as much details as we should expect for a end 2014 game : texture, light, reflect of light, ray of lights, shadows), so the only thing we really see it the form of the haircut, and the shape of the peoples face .. And may be, it is more difficult for short haircut to have a good texture, light, shadow, reflect render...
I don't talk about Joséphine...

But Lelianna (hair hidden), if i am correct, this girl love her haircut (and of course her orlesian shoes with butterfly on it)... and in DAI, she have a scarf??

There is another thing (forget hairs), the Ferelden greeting gestual : In DAO, in Ferelden, peoples greet themselves, by crossing their two arms against the chest, while slightly tilting the head, and Haven is in Ferelden, so why peoples don't greet themselves with Ferelden typical greeting gestural...

Nuke it from orbit, that's the only way to be sure.

Speaking of which, the Darkspawn corruption is actually radiation sickness, that's why everyone is close to bald. :P

I think it`s because a lot of hairstyles would interfere with gear, since BW decided to go with fairly simplistic hair. Which is little bit odd, given how rest of the game looks quite good and you will be staring at character faces a lot during conversations.

And that there is still tons of clipping, especially with shields.

My female Inquisitor likes to sit with her legs apart and arms doing some magic voodoo through her armor.

I would love to see a 2010 game that looks equally as good as Inquisition on ultra.

Rendering is another story, but what do you mean with "Ultra" ? I'm playing on PS3, and if you see the graphic render of Trees (Trees, Hairs, same story)... And even the pebble (les galets) on the beach (on the coast), they look like if it was a flat wallpaper...

So rendering Hairs, is pretty difficult, many details...
I just think they should have add more details to 3D rendering (and some better haircuts - like in DAO)
