Short would be what Cassandra has. Most of those hair has bun or ponytail. Some are bob but that's shortest it gets.

Bob means short to me. LOL

To Deemz : "I was totally thinking something else when I read the title."

When i wrote the title, i was thinking to Vivienne, and the mining woman in the Oasis, and some other NPC... Cassandra have tiny haircut (she is a warrior - but remember Aveline, with her long red hairs)

Vivienne look like a women, except the absence of Hair (and it is a witch, not a warrior so it is not a problem to have long hair for her) ...
But the mining women in the Oasis ...Her haircut look like if she is corrupted by darkspawn, and see look more male, than female if we except the voice ...

And there is also the first sorcerer you get in Multiplayer, the Elven woman... she have 1mm of hair... she is awful...

Usually i talked about the NPC, not really about the Hair choice during the creation of our character...

If i am correct, in DA2, the Haircut  and the facial appearence of Hawke Familly (Bethany, and the mother), was depending of the Haircut, the hair color and  the facial apparence of Hawke, it was very coherent ...

I am all around dissapointed in player customisation. Faces never look like they do when you made them compared to after starting the story. Lack of outfits for homebase, lack of party outfits for certain mission, lack of hairs, lack of good looking gear for first half the game (atleast for my mage). I know some of it is subjective but still it certainly feels all the effort just went into the landscape. Which is very pretty.

The same hair day for everyone is annoying.

To be honest, Dragon Age has always had terrible hair options since Origins. Mass Effect wasn't really spared, but being futuristic, some of the hairstyles worked a bit better in the setting.

That's not to say it still isn't disappointing. At least with Origins and DA:2, there were a slew of good hair mods out there, which made my female Warden look so much better (I'm not talking about the ridiculous barbie doll ones, I mean just the nice contemporary styles users made over at DA Nexus).

Unfortunately, we won't be seeing any modding to the PC version this time around.

I don't agree about DAO, and DA2 haircut style, my "garde des ombres" Elissa Cousland queen look very very pretty (with long hairs, and green eyes), my elven magician female also, she look beautiful, Alistair can't resist her charm, she is his mistress... and in DA2, my Hawk with short white hairs is nice also...

About the hairstyle in Mass Effect, NPC, Shepard, and teamates have most of the time a helmet, and on earth or at the citadel it is the human Alliance Army, so short hair is required... Except Liara and Mordin which have a transparent breathing mask ... But anyway, Krogans, Salarian, Turrians, batarians, Asari and even protheans, Vortcha and Hanar don't have hairs :) It solve the haircut problem lol ;)...

It's a galaxy made for the balds... the mans in my family would enjoy it:)

PS : How is the DAI graphism quality (and rendering) on PC ? is it better than on PS3/PS4 ?

Take a look Here on the Video comparative PS3/PS4:  Dragon Age: Inquisition – PS3 vs. PS4 Graphics

I don't see too much difference between the two platforms...

YouTube is a fairly terrible way of judging graphical fidelity due to compression that they do on videos.

Although really this thread seems to just be that you don't like how bald women look and want BioWare to change the game based on your personal tastes, which is absurd.

Well Morrigan and Josephine's hairstyles are proof that Bioware was able to produce some decent styles in my opinion. The fact that every single hairstyle is shared between both genders makes it worse. At least the previous DA games had some differences in hairstyles for both genders. I love DAI, but Bioware went pure lazy with the hairstyle options.

Lol no, there is just one's with buns, ponytails and braids. Look what's happening behind, there isn't any truly short.

*sigh* Stop being stuborn please, I never suggested to replace the actual haircuts we have but to add more so yeah you will still be able to keep your favortie tomboyish hair.

And another thing, where is the beauty of the elvens which was constantly here in DAO, and their beautiful and so charming blue, or green eyes in DA2 ?

Don't know if this will help, but I'll mention it anyway. You can customize your eye shade (inner/outer iris); and you can also tweak the nose bridges so that they look more like DA2's elves.

I wasn't crazy about the DAO elves...they kinda looked like humans with elf ears tacked on. :P

Plus, Morrigan's hair moves around (hair physics). I want Morrigan's hair damnit.

Calpernia's hair looked pretty good too, it's a shame it wasn't in the cc.

They could have atleast made it so the females didn't have the male patern baldness going on "shudders".

Wow, I see a huge difference between the two. One looks blurry, bland and not very alive. The other looks sharp, exciting and vibrant.

If you do cinematics, hair demands a lot of development.

I prefer to have few hair options, than having a lot of hair options and wasted a lot of development in that. (And therefor, having less than everything else)

I backup Bioware in this 100%.

I was quite annoyed when I saw that. It's pretty much exactly the one I wanted for my mage inquis - the old Anora hairstyle from DAO. Also Morrigan's hair is the only one with physics that I can tell. Way to make us feel like second fiddle even though we're you know... big damn heroes and stuff. Our hair - those of us who have any anyway - can't even be arsed to move.
