Im sure most have noticed this but havent seen people talking about it yet. So here goes for people still starting the game.
When you reach Skyhold, and go to the room where Solas is staying, its this circular room which is being painted all around. The walls have 8 sections, and when you arrive at Skyhold the first time there's already a few sections painted, which depict what happened so far in terms of main story. Everytime you finish an important main story mission, make sure to go check out the new art added and how many sections are left until the end
