So someone in their infinite wisdom decided to do away with the entire Dragon Age 2 game race selection in favor of "Pre-Selected" characters and only Human race?. I know for a fact when I first played this game, before the junky Origin client and the need for constant on-line nagging being required I played as an Elf. I do not know who made this decision, but it was a stupid one. Lock people in to a preset character selection and you will see sales decline, if they have not done so already in the years since this games release. When will EA get the message? Listen to the players, not the damn money bag producers, you will make back more money if you do. This was proven in the NWN community, the best that will ever be and has ever been. If the EA producers and investors do not believe this, show them the results of NWN and the vast community of supporters it had.

In short this is a request to return those race selection options back, if this is not possible, then I will have to find an "alternative" method for installing and playing the original Dragon Age 2.

Dragon age 2 never had race selection. Dragon age Origins (1) had race selection and race selection returned in Dragon age Inquisition, (with an extra race as well). But Dragon age 2 has always been human protagonist only.

Meh, I didn't really mind Hawke being cast as a human ... having a premade main character gave the devs a chance to flesh out a more detailed story. --- Whether or not they did a good job with said chance is something that I'll leave to each person's opinion.

Excellent mod! I just wish some very creative person could do the same for dwarves.
