Soooooooooo... you're saying putting porn in a video game makes it epic, eh?  I would suspect that you are still near puberty, but since the internet is full of porn accessible by all, I suppose it must be just general immaturity regardless of your true age. =]

That bath scene isn't porn at all and you shouldn't insult people for enjoying different things than you.

... what else is a romance scene supposed to be, exactly? Well, you can lose the tub part, but the two horny people are a must. And I rather have this than "ride the Bull" or that nonsense with Sera about Inquisitor shaving her hoo-ha into a random pattern.

Your lame insults won't affect me a******e. So, please continue... Don't want to argue with idiots like you who get personal moment someone say something negative about your favorite video game....Get a life, DAI is not your family property plus everyone has the right to give their opinion..Iam just giving my opinion nothing else...

. Yes well the witcher is fine but I dislike the main char and that makes it harder for me to play it thus I like DA series better. Its a shame the witcher doesn't have a char creator...

Watch this trailer ..

This trailer gives me Goosebumps..What do you think? Impressive huh :P?  Now will you buy Witcher 3? :P

I hope mods don't ban me for promoting W3 on Bioware forums

But there must be some reason why RPG fans (outside Bioware forums) think Witcher is a better RPG game than DA or anything Bioware has created recently?  Bioware is a such old established developer but still they respect CD Red more than Bioware why?

Why Gamespot and other top media outlets gave Witcher 3 most anticipated game of 2015 award ?  There must be something in that game which makes it so special :P

And Dragon Age won most game of the year awards of 2014 from critics and from readers choices. It won 85 rewards while the 2nd game that won most game of the year awards won only 34.It has undoubtebly smashed all competition to become the best game of 2014 in critics' and fans' eyes.Witcher 3 isn't even out yet.

LINK

And I don't know why many people like something. It's their personal preference. There must be a reason why people all over the world adore the Kardashians, I don't agree with it, but there is.

EDIT:I presume the reason hate on Bioware is because of EA DLC shenanigans, unpolished release of DA2 and because many people have a problem with any type of romance content that steps out of their comfort zone.Even so, it is evident the majority of people have voted for DA:I as their GOTY.

But that is irreleveant, only your personal opinion should matter when deciding which games you like/dislike.It is art, and "art isn't a democracy". George R.R Martin.

Am I the only one that thinks it's kind of silly to give an award for "most anticipated"? It's like giving an Oscar to a movie trailer.

Agree completely. Makes me laugh seeing someone make such pronouncement whilst claiming others are adolescent.

The actual romance is tied to plot elements, that is, coupling with Triss or eventually Yen will have bigger repercussions than you 'failing' their romance or not. And like Sapkowski's take on it in the books, it's complicated with individual motivations. Triss meddling with the lodge and then trying to hide this from Geralt is a classic example. All the other conquest stuff in the games is so self aware and tongue and cheek it never offended me. If you want a more straight forward win or lose approach, then Bioware is just as guilty, if not more so for game-ifying the relationships.

All that may be, but I'd still take my romance with Ash in ME1 or with Leliana in DA:O over Geralt and Triss. Now Geralt and Yennifer? Well, that remains to be seen. Hopeing for the best.

All I see is horny people having sex in a tub.

2.)And to the guy who said go ask popular forum which game is better, popularity does not equal quality.Does that mean JB is the best singer in the world?Which game is better is personal opinion.

3.)And to the people discussing whether geralt is pretty or hideous, seriously?Different people have different tastes. To me, Geralt isn't attractive at all, to some he is.Also, personal preference.

consider the date Witcher 2 is released, the tub is basically more then the meets the eye.

when you see Triss what do you see? i see realistic skin, not plastic skin, her face special textures, secondary textures on the body.

smooth in motion, like i say it's more then just a tub.

Ah yes, another thread where blind CDPR fanboys talk about how a game that has yet to even be released is so much cooler than DA:I.  -_-

Yeah, it's probably a troll thread.  I just wanted to get that off my chest.

They also give GOTYs based on their full 200+ playthrough of the game.I wonder which game won most of those?

Sad that the only good thing to come from DA2 is the flame wars with CD Projekt Red. Those never fail to amuse me. DA:I was a 7/10 for me, I eagerly anticipate seeing if Witcher 3 can beat that.

What i meant to say that sites give most anticipated game award based on their hands-on impression at game conventions like E3, PAX and Gamescom..

People are fishing for reactions. I've actually been on their forums and most people there enjoy both franchises. Only thing they really hate are the Bioware romances ironically enough, since most people here take issue with how Witcher deals with that "feature".

I am a massive fan of the Witcher series but I found their romance scenes gratuitous and poorly developed. Of course if you're a horny guy who just wants to stare at pixelated boobs you're going to love them but... yeah that's not for me.

Bioware romances feel more developed than the Witcher 2 ones, because you spend more time seeing them grow from nothing to love or whatever. You don't really have that in the Witcher 2. But then in my canon Witcher playthroughs, Geralt doesn't get with anyone because he's in love with Yennefer :)

Yup, video game awards are joke..lol...

For most sites games like Divinity Original Sin, Shovel Knight, Dark Souls 2, Shadow of mordor and Nintendo exclusives like Bayonetta 2, SSM, and MK8 are front runners for 2014 GOTY award...

That said DAI is still a strong GOTY contender imo

Dragon age game play is just better than the witcher 1 and 2. I doubt I will buy the witcher 3 until there is a deep discount on a steam sale. That's said as a straight Latino make with no desire to rp as a woman or a gay guy.

I dislike dragon age I romances very very much. I don't do them nor do I initiate them. I did the Cassandra romance on my first play through and the Josie on the second. That was enough.

I like the witcher but I'd rather watch skinemax late night then put up with that terrible combat system just to see some boobs.

I barely got to act 2 of tw2 after buying it on steam sale it was just bad. Also I saw a lot of dragon age 2 rip offs in the story dandelion felt like varric and his re telling of the story.

I then bought bought tw1 for 99 cents on a steam sale thinking that maybe I'd like the original better since I'm more of an origins guy than a da2 or Inquisition. Something about the originals that is always best. Nope! Even worse combat system.

To me romance in inquisition is like a gay soft porn sim. I have seen the clips on the angry joe show and I couldn't look at iron bull the same again. I can't imagine anyone having respect for their male inquisitor after getting ground and pounded by that beast.

however I enjoy bioware rpg's more and understand that with da 2 they picked up a new audience. It would be dumb not to put content in for them. Doesn't mean that I have to go play a game I do not enjoy,

Fair enough. Anyway, I'll definitely be getting the game once I have a PS4 (and repurchasing DA:I for that), because regardless of anything, RPG's are really the only games I can get into, so naturally I don't have that many games to speak of, so I'll take what I can get. I hate the trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, but I'm very intrigued by that one too.

Get Witcher 3 on PC if you can..Both PS4  and XO versions are 900p @ 30fps i think...

I will get W3 on PC only..Game will look better plus MODS :D

Pretty sure the DA:I trailer gave you goosebumps too.

And after you've played the Witcher and found out it doesn't live up to the fantasy game you drew up in your mind, you'll find the next unreleased game to drool over and stalk people on the Witcher forums with it.

Have seen it countless times before: people like you have a few games from the past that they love, and always a game that hasn't been released yet that's going to be 'the next big thing'... until you finally get to play it.

In DA:O I disagreed with Morrigan about pretty much everything, but once I gave her enough jewelry we had sex in our underwear. With Merrill it was more hate sex I guess but still sex in underwear. I'm not saying CD Projekt Red approaches "romances" in the best way (sex cards anyone?), but Bioware romances aren't really any "deeper" IMO. The best relationship Bioware has ever done in my opinion is Shepard and Garrus, the non-romantic version. It feels like a genuine friendship instead of being forced like Hawke and Varric are.
