Honestly, if all you're going to do is spooge over how awesome the Witcher is, and how **** BioWare is (even though, you know, The Witcher 3 isn't even out yet), mayhap it's best to do it on the appropriate forums.

Right? Posting about how Origins or DA II are superior to Inquisition on the DA inquisition forums is already a bit much in my opinion.

What about the dialogue part of it? Sex scenes are fine I guess, but it don't mean squat without some entertaining dialogue.

A lot of people here seem to be too invested in the romance part of the game.

I just like romantic stories. Don't tell anyone.

Jerusalem: First Witcher didn't have any sex scenes. Just fade to black and then you get card.

You didn't, but there are actually 4-5 people who posted things in this context and i copy pasted one of their sentences here.
In Witcher 2 there is actually only 1 quicky scene for that woman you saved from burning building and that's all.
But romance with Triss is pretty well done if you played first game, no need for book, but if you go Yennefer way, you can see the guy actually in love without the girl even present in game.
I am very interested in how is gonna play out in Witcher 3. Is it possible that she also has memory loss?

Oh yes, the romance is fantastic if you played the first game. Especially if you treated her like crap and she's still all head over heels for you. /s

Yeah..especially if you gonna acknowledge the effort Bioware is investing in its characters and DA:I and god forbid suggest how to maybe improve something and provide some kind of example.
That is unforgivable and this people should be banned.

The day you understand that the only thing linking the Witcher & DA is the fantasy aspect, and that they are different games aiming at different things is the day you'll be feeling better. I swear.

I'll assume you're being sarcastic.

I don't mean that these people should be banned, but threads like: ''Who would rather play Origins than this?'' Are obviously something that is not needed here. And to that matter they probably shouldn't be posted on Origins forums either. Maybe write it down on your blog or something.

True, but why you wouldn't want to explore some feature that worked well in some other game that might not be even RPG.

And me and Charcoal didn't **** on Bioware, we were talking how some aspects would be cool to implement in Dragon Age.

Fanboyism is serious problem. To some this post will look like -

The Witcher doesn't have romance scenes.

It has **** scenes so that horny dudes can jack it, and then collect cards afterwards.

No matter how bad BioWare's romance scenes may be, at least I actually give a **** about the people involved in them.

This. I have a feeling the OP will be disappointed come TW3 given that CDPR is trying to make their romances similar to Biowares, where it isn't just meaningless sex. Seeing threads like these make me lose faith in humanity. Some people can be so shallow.

I was laughing my ass off when I saw the Sera "Romance," Arc. Who in Bioware wrote her romance arc, honestly. That was the dumbest and funniest thing I've ever seen. How she was acting like an animal just saying weird things and falling on the floor like a toddler. I was honestly expecting a fart joke the entire time. How anyone got "Romance," Out of that scene is beyond me.

Such amazing writing.

You're talking about her actual "sex" scene, yeah? That's actually an optional scene that only happens if you agree to Vivienne's suggestion of "shaving something vulgar into your privates" as a gift to Sera. So yeah, that particular scene isn't meant to be super "romantic." Sera is really immature about that stuff and is laughing her ass off about it.

Thats Witcher 1, The Witcher two had nice romances, also, if you step back you actually see that Witcher saga is not about end of the world or politics or any kind of that crap, its a story about a guy who finally find peace, than got it taken away from him, now he looks to regain his memory and find love that eludes him. Geralt just wants to be hugged by bang Yennefer and he is gonna rip appart have sex with anyone in between.

Fixed that for you.

I wouldn't really call anything in Witcher "romance" it's male fantasy pandering made by people from a country which has major issues with sexism. Women in the game are tools to see naked and bang. You only get the option to play as a male who women fall all over to be with because he is a perfect manly hero.

You're right about one thing, fanboyism is a serious problem.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: It ain't romance unless there's bewbs. I don't get why people are so confused by that.

Anyway, Witcher has the right idea. I know that I always offer sex to random people who help me. Always.

"I felt like Bioware was treating its fan base like children. Atleast we got to see boobs finally. "

These two sentences... one after the other? Really?

Gerald is what I wanna call a medieval James Bond but as him he cares for the women he has "slept with" like I care for my socks. I do not want Bioware to go to that road they make the most gender equal games in all the industry and they should stay there.

Bioware doesn't have sex scenes, they have romance scenes.

Witcher 2 has one romance scene (well to be fair, you can only really romance one person), but a lot of sex scenes.

Romance does not necessarily mean sex.

I'd like to come in here and be all noble and say "oh well who cares about steamy sex , kissing, and breasts anyway, I just want a good romantic side-story", but taking that high road seems like it's going to be absolutely exhausting.

I, as a regular straight guy, give 2 thumbs up for steamy sex and breasts in romance scenes. I've only seen one romance scene in DAI anyway and I like it.

Although I wish there could've been more than 2 choices for straight male Inquisitors. The worst part is you have Leliana and especially Morrigan - seriously she looks absolutely gorgeous - looking so great, but your Inquisitor can't romance anyone who can match those two.

In the end it's about end of the world **** too. The whole ending of Witcher 1 made that abundantly clear.
