Hell the Mage Templar war period should have been more widely featured.

Actually that already was demonstrated along with the ignition of lyrium in DOTS.
Cass gutted that SOB while he was gaping like an idiot.
Just standing there stunned.
A blood mage tried to mind-control Hawke, failed, doesn't mean that Hawke is absolutely immune to mind control. It means that it requires a more powerful mage.

There both jerks who hurt people. So, its sort of like picking a dried turd or a bloody douche. It's bad no matter what you do.

Seekers should have been elite templar combatants in game.
Hell the Mage Templar war period should have been more widely featured.
That would've interfered with the Red Templar plot behind the Templars

Only in so far as the branch in Orlais is concerned.
There were thirteen garrisons
I personally think the red templar issue only should have came up MUCH later.
You recuirt a faction and help them conclude their conflict in the region, that way you actually witness a bit of the Damn war they were building up for years.
Corruption in the ranks could have come when higher level officers or foreign reinforcements came in at the conclusion of the fight.

We accept your concession to our badassness. Actually rolling a Templar right now after I found out mages sold people to Tevinter.

The entire order was sent to Therinfal. "Lucius" rounded them all up from all over Southern Thedas

Solas proves to you that this is not the case, and it is even in a codex entry. A spirit becomes a demon if it is *summoned* to this world and *bound*, not if it comes of its own accord. Cole is an example of this.

I admit, it's a rather pleasant sight to see virtually the entire Templar Order join Corypheus.
Based Samson.

The difference being the Templars are mind controlled into doing it with Tainted lyrium, while the mages join of their own freewill, which kind of pissed me off more than them selling out Ferelden.

I played pro-Templar, but I've only played as a mage so far.
My first run was a templar
Just to make him more powerful I gave him master corruption runes in his weapons and fire enchanted armor o.o

Oh, I knew there'd be an option to destroy the mage rebellion. What I didn't know for sure was that there'd be a way to lead them to victory and wipe out the templars at the same time, which there was. Screw up however you like in your own playthroughs, I'm most satisfied.

Don't see how it's a screw up when you still get mages regardless of who you side with

Templars, then mages. I intend to go in that order from now because whichever you pick doesn't really matter anyway and it keeps extra playthoughs from being monogamous.
