As mage i support this. We are no more dangerous than a army of non-magi. We are considered living weapons locked away til whatever war calls. We are placed in gilded cages , given autonmy thats varies by nations by our templar watchmen. Treated like children who arent allowed to learn from our failures, treated like cursed monsters preying on thedas' virgins twirling our mustaches

The time for change is here FOR FREEDOM

Freedom is nothing more but permission granted by paper. We need more than Freedom. We need Complete dominance over all of Thedas to truly be free.

Lol, didnt mean to sound Tevinter just let my ego get the best of me. I don't speak for all apostates. For each apostate is free to choose their own path.

The purpose of this thread is to support mage Independence and to discuss new ideas, theories, and possible future schools of magic that can be introduced to Dragon Age. Apostates never represent order but choas and that's the way the world should be. For natural order is disorder.

I agree let darwinsim claim thedas. Magic users are part of nature to coral them is like trying to control nature. Not every magi is mad

Anyway since your trying to organize your flock what is you first order of business.

Whenever someone says it is the nature of mages to be lock them up for the "greater good", I say change *is* nature. The part that *we* can influence. And it starts when we decide.

as for the Templars, Sic semper tyrannis.

My latin is crap but i agree with fighting for our freedom. Rather be cold, starving and dying than be in a gilded cage

Spread the word. Convince fellow mages the torment the chantry and it circles brings. Remember Cole, the mage locked away by Templars and starved to death.

I'm pretty sure most of this ilk were eradicated in the Hinterlands and at Haven.

The ending where the mages finally get their independence and finally gain widespread acceptance made me happy. Eat it templar-lackeys

Eat what? That after a time of much suffering and death, people were for a short time grateful for any peace and to those who provided it?

Well, duh, I could have told you that. It's what happens after that, in the long term, that matters.
