So I'm on my second playthrough and want to collect all possible agents and I read briefly in my strategy book a female elf is a possible in Crestwood with Solas present.
Foolishly I just guessed it would be the elf that gives you the Wyvern quest so I did that then cleansed Crestwood and killed the dragon.
Now after proper reading I find that Jana is actually in a cabin near where you meet the wardens saving her... The guide does not stipulate that I must talk to her before cleansing Crestwood but I've scoured the area for an hour and can't find her?? Any help or confirmation that you can't get her after Crestwood is saved? I'm going to be gutted if that's the case..
You'd think a $50 strategy guide would cover all this however I've found many errors in it!!

It's probably the elf in the house that wants to join the Grey Wardens. You can probably convince her to join the inquisition instead.

Take a left at the fork in the road with the statue from where you ran into her and the Grey Wardens and she's in the first house you see.

Yeah she isn't there. House is empty. If only I knew there was a short time frame to grab her. Oh well.. Looks like she'll be getting sacrificed at Adamant now... She should have stuck around!! Dumb mole haha.

i had this problem too. i think you have to talk to her immediately after the rescue. i reloaded a bunch of saves looking for her. she's definitely not there after you capture the keep. i ended up losing 4 hours, because i didn't go back and look for her before clearing all of crestwood...ugh :|

Yeah there's a very small window in which you can grab her... (Reddit posts gave me the answer). So Ritts (hinterlands), Belle (Val Roy-whatever) and Jana are ones you must snatch up as soon as you see them and are the only missable Agents other than Mage/Templar choice agents.

I found Jana again. She starts wandering around the village. You can still speak to her if you catch her.
