Indeed. There's absolutely no justification at all for choosing the Xbox 1 in white unless it's to match the decor.

Don't use the Cabal (at least not against Reapers) if you want to solo faster, only 3 kits have a slower average completion time. Also, Giant is an easy map but not particularly quick.

 

If you faced Cerberus on White I think you might surprise yourself by how fast you can complete it.

 

Eh. None of my "aggressive" classes do well on Platinum (at least not when I solo). I either get destroyed or end up kiting with what's supposed to be a tank, which kinda sucks. I can consistently get to wave 7 or 8 on a plat solo with my strongest characters (i.e., Huntress) but by then I've spent close to an hour (which is still waaaay faster than I did with the Cabal) and it's frustrating to spend that much time only to get synced (which is always the way it ends for me).

Hey I built my own entertainment center to fit around my PS3, which by the way goes much better with the rest of my stuff than an xbox would. Especially if I ever get a Bamboo skin from dbrand!

 

I've never built a gamer girl, so I'm not sure what a generously-built one would be.

Try watching NetFlix while you solo platinum- totally doable with the Krogan "Pyjack" Acolyte/CSMG Soldier (build in sig). That should spice it up a bit.

How do you get yourself motivated to go it alone?

Alcohol and lubrication.

 

Just remember what goes where. 

 

Fun fact: 1/4 of my platinum solos were open lobbies that no one joined because I am a scrub.
