I'm more concerned with the embarrassment of having someone walk in during the middle of it.

Cato what's the top 3 fastest average solo kits?

Here are the top ten fastest kits in the Platinum Solo HoF by average completion time.

QMI, Merc, GI if I had to guess. Pretty sure on the first two.

You're right about the Talon Mercenary being fast, he's in 4th position. The GI is just outside the top ten I posted above, with an average time of 47:15.

But you're way off with the QMI, he's in 40th place with an average time of 55:32.

That's interesting. I was working on a sub thirty with him which I never could complete but I got really close. He can cut through early Cerberus waves fast especially wave two with just nade spam. I'm a little surprised.

Where is Phoenix Adept? If he's just outside top 10 (which is where I'd guess his posn is), I'll do a bunch of speed runs and push him into top 10.

There are 12 QMI solos in the HoF, half of them completed against Cerberus - the average time of those six solos is just 40:31. So it's the other factions that are much slower and push the kit's average time up.

You should try for that sub-30 solo again, you might well beat the current fastest time for the QMI - 28:11.

The Phoenix Adept is in 18th place with an average time of 49:19. His Vanguard brother is doing slightly better - 14th place with an average time of 47:45.

Thanks. That's only 3 mins slower than the 10th position ( < 1 minute for the vanguard).

Since the phoenix bros don't have a lot of entries, a few sub-40's should lower the average quite a bit. I have a task to accomplish. (Project Phoenix: Top 10)

I'd also like to know the drell adept's position. I would love to have DA in the top 10 too, but I can't single-handedly do that as there are a lot of DA solos. (atleast compared to PA)

The Drell Adept is in between the Smash Bros - he's 17th with an average time of 48:39.

As for number of solos each kit has, you might be surprised that the Drell Adept only has 20 compared to the Phoenix Adept's 15. So, considering how quick you are, you could probably move both of them up the table quite easily.

The Phoenix Vanguard has 10 entries in the HoF - only 4 kits are less popular. Just one 35 minute solo will push him into the top ten.

Depends what you are looking for and your preferences. If you want 1 done without too many attempts, TGI, Geth Trooper, GI, Juggernaut and AIU to some extent are the easiest.

Characters with Inferno Grenades are easy too, providing that you're comfortable enough without dodge. If you want something fast without too much difficulty, you may try a Venom / GPS QME solo against Cerberus, in a good map for grenades kits.

Infiltrator is #9 in that list.

The DV's avg time is ~51 mins, with 14 entries. Probably outside top 20.

Eh, whatever you're good with.

I didn't want to do one with the TGI, Geth Trooper or any of those easy mode characters. I went with DAI  which likely was even more easy mode for me but I actually enjoy killing things with him so it was fun.

As soon as I get my PC back I am getting a fat Turian no dodge in this list.

What are your go-to-guys? Take a kit you are comfortable with against Banshees, Phantoms and groups of Dragoons (if you want to try against Cerberus). In general: see that you have powers that work against mooks and bosses instead of against just one of the two, that you have a cyclonic mod to equip and that you keep track of where the Phantoms are at all times in waves with them. Oh, another one: save your missiles for double Banshee rounds and of course for targets as objective waves, unless you are in Garrus' voice "really" comfortable with killing targets under pressure.

When it comes to easy kits, I would like to share a fun fact: I have a total of 15 completed waves with the Geth Trooper, but a Plat solo completed with it. To be fair though: I had already completed around a dozen plat solos with characters that I like (and tried many more).

Been working with the Destroyer/Cerberus/Ghost. Cannot seem to get past wave 7 but only 2 attempts. Will give it another go. Right now using lancer and GPS. Lancer just doesn't feel right and carrier just not enough ammo. Will get first solo plat done this week, hopefully.

Try playing this on a loop when you get these feelings. Remember, it's because it's lonely at the top when you're the best. Quarians understand this well.

Hmm the Destroyer isn't an easy choice for a first plat solo. His dps his awesome but his low movement speed isn't easy to deal with against Cerberus, especially during wave 7. Collectors, with their slow moving bosses, could be a better choice for him .

As for the weapons, GPS is OK but Lancer is too weak for a character who doesn't care about power recharge speed like the Destroyer. I would go with PPR or Typhoon.

You could always solo Thunderdome for your first one.

I want to weapon my first platinum solo. I'm so sick of powers at the moment.
Maybe I'll give the Indra a shot.
