I want to weapon my first platinum solo. I'm so sick of powers at the moment.
Maybe I'll give the Indra a shot.

If you want to weapon your first plat solo, maybe the Krogan soldier spamming carnage and shooting in between is a good choice. Because of his high shields and his damage reduction option, you could spare a cyclonic mod and use something that helps you out with weapon or power damage instead.

 

I would recommend to equip incendiary ammo (and in the power trees: carnage rank 5 -> 35% reduced cooldown, rank 6 -> 65% more damage against armored targets). If you like the Lancer, one with the piercing mod and the mag upgrade should work well in concert with the cooldown of carnage then. Also equip an acolyte as a secondary to strip shields. But I am no soldier expert and usually need my biotic or tech explosions, so others should be able to give you better tips for this task.
