Probably. But it sounds like a dick move, really.

Not sure how I feel about the Cullen scene since it may feed on the straight guys fear of guys hitting on them, like with the whole ordeal with Ander.

Meh.  If straight guys can hit on Sera and straight gals can hit on Dorian, then straight guys can handle getting hit on by gay guys.  It goes both ways.  (Pun intended)

We should have seen this coming.

While playing this "Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts'' quest I realised of all four instances of NPC characters in the background having spousal issue were all homosexual men, not one instance of a heterosexual couple.

I didn't notice this at all. Real effective throat-shoving ya got there.

No no, not that. Sorry, poor wording on my part. My point is I got the feeling that they all seemed much more open about that, at the very least, as opposed to their own motives within the Great Game. Annnnnnd, there goes my foot. What I meant to say was that I liked the few quotes.
Dorian is also one of my favorites as well, I just really didn't like how the meeting with his father was handled. As someone who is bisexual it sort of felt... I don't know, forced to me? If that makes sense? But it does fit with his character, so in the end while I didn't enjoy it all that much I was at least happy something like that was in the game.

It felt strange to me as well. At least until the very end when his father said he made a mistake. Through Most of it though my character is encouraging Dorian to forgive a man who hates what he is and hasn't stated anything has changed. It made no sense.

It's not the size that matters, after all.

While doing a quest in the emerald graves I stumbled into a manor. In that manor there was a book that talked about sexuality in Ferelden and Orlais.

In Ferelden, homosexuality is seen as something scandalous but not reprehensible. In Orlais it's considered a normal thing or better said a quirk of character. If anything, Orlais views homosexuality as a fetish and nothing wrong with it.

With that said, if you pay attention to the people around the place, there were a lot of straight couples talking and dancing. And I honestly don't see the issue with this.

Why are some people making fun of the OP as if he's an offender? he didn't seem one bit homophobic and to call him that specially when he made clear he is not is rude and aggressive

Reverse discrimination is discrimination by itself, leave alone when it's is used against those who didn't discriminate to begin with

Sorry but I already called BINGO. You'll have to wait for the next round to start.

OP is talking out of both sides of his mouth. "It's good that Bioware includes homosexuality as normal without prejudice, except when they actually do so."

I think bioware is just trying too hard, I mean Im lesbian but even I have to say too much is too much. This whole social justice agenda in the gaming community is over saturating everything. It's nice to find mainstream support but it's not cool to make it a huge issue that will only make things harder for lbgt. Already there are the rumblings "Your kind is ruining gaming!"

Let there be rumblings.  If "our kind" being represented ruins their gaming then it's not something to be preserved, in my opinion.

Now, anyone got a good dick joke to liven the mood?

Change is never accepted by the majority. It would be a sign of stagnancy if people weren't shouting "Your kind is ruining gaming!". Things usually get worse before they get better.

Personally, I'll take as many gays as possible  ;)
