Rogue's Dance of Death appears to be bugged for other abilities as well. It never triggered in my assassin/archery playthrough whenever I would one-shot an enemy with Full Draw.

Not to mention my survival, I only have shield wall as defense, but it is OP, and the passives are also OP, and shield is also OP...
The game is not very well balanced at the moment xD

Unfortunately, the skill also seems to cost a total of 100 stamina (50 for each hit). Sometimes I don't notice since a Rogue can regain Stamina at incredible rates, but it's definitely more than just 50 per use.

I was JUST wondering why my cooldowns weren't going down with Gathering Storm. The mage specs will be immensely stronger (Necro especially) if it ever gets fixed.

Precision targeting upgrade for Throwing Blades skill in Sabotage Rogue tree doesnt' work. At least not for me. Every single hit on a single enemy would do the exact same damage.

Leaping Shot
- Glitchy environmental interactions. It's basically a big jump that can get you into some weird places. Not a common occurrence but here for the sake of completeness.
Glitchy is right.
After the update I had a very tragic thing happen to Solas and I.
He and I were near the edge on a mountain in the Hinterlands. I ran forward a bit and used Leeping shot, I bounced back and Solas and I were flying off the mountain and got shot into Hell aka we painted the bottom of that mountain and both died from fall damage.
i lol'ed so hard.

I'm really getting concerned about the lack of responses from Bioware devs on these forums. Seems like when Mass Effect 3 dropped, there were 5x more posts and responses to issues, especially with multiplayer. And the multiplayer of this game is not getting anywhere near as many calls for balance changes as ME3 was at first.
I'm really hoping that the DAI team isn't that much smaller.

I agree. The silence about gameplay issues is disconcerting. Either they're not sure if they're going to fix all these issues, or they're not bothering to inform us. Both cases are a sign of bad support.

They will be fixed in time, don't worry. It's not that the game is unplayable.
Enjoy the holidays!

Perhaps someone can check to confirm these two Necromancer observations:
1) Spirit Marks+ seems to tick only 7 times, each tick for 150%.
2) Waking Bomb+ also ticks 7 times, at 200% and then explodes but only for 200%.
I checked with Dorian on various enemies ( even resistance should be causing this), not sure if it's a bug specific to my game for some reason or if it's an another general bug.

This is pretty much par for the course with the dragon age series, Origins and 2 were both like this on release as well. I never picked 2 up again after release so I don't know what state it ended up in, but I know in Origins some of the most severe combat bugs were never patched or fixed even after 5+ dlcs had been released. The fact of the matter is that 99% of the people who buy the game don't care about gameplay bugs and will probably not even notice them, this is a very low priority for BW. It is in their interest to pump out more story content in DLC form to bring in the cash, patching gameplay bugs to appease 1% of the fanbase for no monetary profit is not going to be very high on their list. Don't be surprised if these things take months to be addressed or are simply ignored.

At least, a lot of the DAO bugs were fixed by modders. Now, we're at the mercy of Bioware. ![]()

There are bugs, and bugs. If some ability is broken, or OP, or whatever, it is well, ok to leave it like that.
If you dont want to feel overpowered, you can ignore it, or use it as intended and not get benefit from the bug.
However, how it is right now, feels like the whole class 2H warrior is broken...

DAO was ridiculously riddled with bugs. Most of them just weren't immediately apparent. Fortunately modders fixed most of them. Nearly half the skills had some sort of bug, and the 2-handed warrior was in even worse shape.

Not a great bug but annoying
Tempest gets 1 more extra potion/bomb but if you lost that extra every time you travel to another location. I hope this is not intended because It's a waste of resources

The upgrade to evade doesn't seem to work. Attacking the decoy has no effect. It doesn't distract, nor deal damage.I tested with a bear for about 10 minutes. Just evading all of his attacks. His AOE slam does no damage, even when he swips through the decoy there is no damage. If someone else can confirm, great, otherwise I've seen all I needed.

DA:O and DA2 combined didn't have as many bugs when it comes to talents. I mean the sheer amount of bugged abilities is staggering.

No, your just not aware how broken the system was. DAI has a quarter the number of bugs, at most.
I'm reciting what you can read for yourself in Combat Tweaks mod for dragon age. The sheer amount of fixes they did is ridiculous. It turns out like half the skills in DAI didn't work properly in some way or another.
The biggest issues include rogue abilities not adding backstab damage, so autoattack was more effective then using abilities for a rogue. Two-handers had a skill that did bonus damage to contructs which did nothing at all. Two-handers had a skill that sundered on hit which only worked for crits. Shields were checked as weapons for shield bash, but their base damage was 1.
This was all in the final game too. not the final release. Its just that the way combat worked it was harder to notice how few things actually worked as advertised.
