You know...many of the side quests really do suck...

I skipped all the lame collection quests (especially the one with the shards, I really skipped that one) and my playthrough still lasted over 80 hours. A lot of the sidequests are tedious and boring, sure, but even if you skip them there are plenty of other good ones.

Main story is great. Side quests...not so much. They are rather lackluster at best. It's disappointing. I'd gladly trade in open world exploration for better, more engaging side quests.

QFT.  without doubt.  Open world exploration get's old very fast.

this reminds me a lot of mass effect 1..  most of the quests are actually good.. but there are some fetch quests where you have to get a grocery list of crafting mats (or planet minerals in the case of ME1)..

yeah, sorry.. ill pass thanks.. especially since i have a grocery list i need anyway for the specializations as well as crafting the high level armor and weapons..

the shards are probably one that i will actually complete on my second playthrough.. mainly because they are used to unlock certain areas and i want to see what comes of that.
