Black works always. Why not black?

I can't understand beige choice. It's too close skin color of some Inquisitors which might make them seem naked. Also it don't look that good, the color is wrong and whole thing looks like pajamas with same coloring on top to bottom.

Everyone else in skyhold looks dressed for the climate, and the inquisitor is running around, and receiving important dignitaries, in her pajamas.  WTHF?

I wouldn't have such an issue with it if my Qunari's Jaw/Chin didn't clip into it ALL THE DANG TIME.

Qunari's also have some issues in cutscenes where their head looks... "glued on" to their shoulders, like the neck got shortened . makes for clipping issues as well.

You are not. It also looks absolutely ridiculous on everyone besides human males. Hopefully they patch in the ability to wear your armor in Skyhold or make casual wear DLC.

It looks absolutely ridiculous on all races including human males. Everyone's a victim. No one's getting off easy.

Even Disney Channel agrees.

I've thought about that and came up with a crackpot theory (that just might be true!): in black, the outfit might look like a Mao suit. Well, a Mao suit with Ugg boots, I grant you, but in most story-forwarding views we can't see the boots. Maybe a Mao-suited inquisitor produced too much cultural dissonance?

I did notice that in beige I blend into my walls and parapets outside really well. That could come in handy...

This is hilarious

In addition to being beige, its not just a tight fit; its a tight fit that shrunk a couple sizes after laundry

(But seriously Bioware  )

The color doesn't bother me much, but it is just retardedly tight.

Just changing the top colour instead of having it all match would be a huge improvement. I'd have no problem with wearing khakis (okay, slight issue, but still...) if the top was in a lovely green or crimson or navy.

Even all black would be a huge improvement.

Pft - in any Bioware game their casual wear always sucks - especially for female characters.
