I had two male, one's a mage, another was a Rogue. Both had the American accent. Unfortunately, I wasn't paying attention and deleted him. Soo... I'm remaking him, but instead of an American accent. I was wondering, has anyone played as a British Qunari? I remember some say he sounds younger in comparison. So, just curious on people's input. Thanks and panahedan ^_^

I don't think either voice "sounds" Qunari, but I made an archer to try it out and gave him that voice.  It does not fit at all IMO.  I was laughing at it though so it does have use.

At least we can play Qunari though...even if we don't have a voice that says "I'll tear your arms off and beat you to death with them"

It may be your cup of tea....but to me it doesn't fit at all.

Ataash Qunari!

I liked Jon Curry's voice, but like you said different tastes, however it wasn't how I pictured Ataashi (funny you say Ataash) speaking. I wanted him a bit younger sounding. I just was wondering people's thoughts. I know people say Harry Hadden-Patton's voice is better for Humans, Elves, and Dwarves. Where Jon's better for gruff Humans, Dwarves, and Qunari. But I do thank you for your opinion.

My Qunari uses the british voice. I like the sound of his voice and the way he delivers lines better (British voice conveys emotions more accurately to me). It suits the image I have for my character better than the alternative. They explain in game that the Qunari PC grew up and spent most of their time in the Free Marches, and british seemed to be the predominant accent there in DA2, so I just imagine that he picked it up from living among the people there.

Unless I'm mistaken, Jon Curry's voice is the same as Marcus from Fallout: New Vegas... for those of you who are unfamiliar, Marcus is a huge, hulking Super Mutant.  Now, I didn't look this up or anything, so I might not even be right about it, but that's who I kept hearing when I chose that voice... so for the most part, that's the voice I'd be more comfortable with using as a Qunari once I get around to playing as one.

My main character is a Qunari with the English voice, it suits him perfectly - when I briefly had the voice bug (before reloading) he sounded ridiculous, it depends on the face/personality you go for though, I suppose.

It sounds...wrong.

For about 5 minutes. Once you get used to teh minor dissonance it's much better than the American accented voice, which makes you sound slow. And I'm not talking running speed.

Marcus is voiced by the great Michael Dorn. Now he would be a perfect Qunari voice.

Well, Jon Curry also sounded like Worf to me before I started to think it was Marcus... lol... maybe I just don't like that voice or something.  Not for a human anyway... Thanks for the clarification though.

I have a male British Qunari. It fits well actually if you give your Qunari a young appearance with a thin jaw. Jon Curry's voice makes him sound too deep then. xD

I picked the British voice for my male Qunari mage.  It made him sound more intellectual...plus I wanted him to be a "softer" kind of character, for lack of a better word.

I won't spoil anything, but the way that voice delivers one particular line during Iron Bull's romance, I knew I had made the right decision.

Jon Curry's voice is my default male Qunari voice. British accented just doesn't sound right to me. The perfect voice would be Michael Dorn and at times Curry sounds like him.

Just started a new playthrough as a Qunari and Curry really is great.
