I had Briala keep Gaspard in check, It was very satisfying in the epilogue.

I've heard a few different things and am not sure which is true since I haven't beaten the game yet.
A lot of people seem to agree though that getting all 3 to work together is actually not an optimal solution, since they all end up still plotting against each other and pretty much nothing changes.
I went with reuniting Celene and Briala, so we'll see how that goes once I beat the game.

So far from what i've seen
Gaspard in power on his own:
ramps up military forces.
strengthens the northern boarders against tevinter invasion
violently puts down any house that dare challenges him.
Celene in power on her own:
Secures peace between orlais and fereldon
"pacifies" the elf rebellion.
focus on trade
relies on the inquistion alliance to protect her as gaspard plots from where ever he was banished to.
haven't done any combinations yet.

Just saw this ending, Think it is if you execute both Briala and Gaspard and have 100 court approval but am not sure
https://www.youtube....h?v=olCD3MHvuUs
Also in that ending seems Leliana does nothing about new sects and chantry infighting all all pretty much goes to crap. Wonder how that happened

You can still secure the peace between Orlais and Ferelden, and change Gaspard's mind about invading Ferelden by doing that 16 hour long war table mission. Where Josephine arranges peace talk between Gaspard and Alistair/Anora. Both nations will come to an accord, and it's the reason why Gaspard moves his troop from Ferelden's border to the northern borders against Tevinter.

I don't know about other people, but I never consider Viv as good candidate to be the Divine so...I'm left with two candidates Leliana or Cassandra.

lol i'd never put her in charge of anything but out of interest i watch i tubed it.
she basically violently suppresses anyone who challenges her, stuffs the mages back in the circle reforms the templars and put's them firmly under her leash.

I really wish we can replace Viv with Mother Giselle as the third candidate for the Divine. I'm surprised that Viv is one of the candidates myself, and she doesn't fit at all, and not to mention that she's a mage (no offence), but people wouldn't accept her easily and immediately.

Every word Vivienne says drips with politician arrogance. I wouldn't trust her in any position of authority. Even her personal quest shows how pathetic a person she is.

Yeah I really thought Mother Giselle would be an option.

I want to boot her out of the Inquisition after seeing her arrogance comment on the Grey Wardens. Seriously, Viv. Do I need to throw you to the Darkspawn so you can see how important the wardens are. And that is before her personal quest.

I had Celene take the throne and exiled Gaspard (Briala didn't factor into things, lol).
The epilogue states something along the lines of Celene always worrying about the threat of Gaspard but that her alliance with the Inquisition is very solid. So much so, that people wonder whether she's relying on The Inquisition too much.

I want to have Gaspard with Briala as leaders, does that mean Celene has to die?

So should I exile. Gaspard or kill him? I like his character but he's a threat to stability and I've killed people like smugglers for far less.
If you kill Gaspard then Celene will become an ungrateful b*tch towards the inquisition. If you exile him then she is a puppet for the inquisition since she knows that she can be replaced.

there's something like 3 revolts the moment shes named divine, which she crushes.

She keeps the Templars AND Mages on a short leash.
And this is bad why?
Lucius gave himself to a demon, using disillusionment as a poor excuse
Fiona sold her people into servitude to a corrupted Magister
From where I'm standing, strong central control is what's needed

Lol yeah, 3 consecutive uprisings as soon as her ascention is declared.
There'll be more yet
People pick her because of her conservative views, but setting A precedent for a mage divine? I don't get these people

Nah as that video I linked shows, you can kill all her opponents and still have her a loyal and greatful ally of the Inquisition, I think it all depends on your court approval rating. Whereas Gaspard doesn't seem to give a damn what those court fops think and seems to be your loyal ally no matter what, but I think this is due to him seeing the wisdom in how the Inquisition could be a useful tool in him consolidating authority.
