I just wanted to meet Anders and punch him in the face....
How about you?

Have the possibility of dying in the final battle, put all that side questing and upgrading of the Inquisition to good use during the final battle, have Morrigan's hairstyle, the option to save both Hawke and Alistair/Loghain/Stroud... that's just off the top of my head.
The Warden
Sten
Oghren
Shale
Zevran
Velanna
Pretty much meeting or at least learning about our previous companions' fates
Also, curing Felix from the taint by making him a GW. Why the hell no?
Finding a middle ground in the mage-templars conflict
Proper hair

Maybe 'we' aren't meant to die? ![]()
I haven't finished it yet but I realize one thing I want more and more is the chance to explain my decisions, not simply make them. I also want to upgrade my troops' armour/weapons. Something else will come to mind.

Give orders with keyboard/mouse in tactical view, like in Origins.
I want a suicide mission. It all really seems pointless if there is no risk of losing what you have. It's like the hobbit, where everyone survives, even though they have come across things that should have killed them instantly.
Take dragon age awakening for example. The choice between amaranthine and vigils keep was brilliant.Upgrade your keep, upgrade your soldier, see your work come to fruition. The DAI series needs that on a larger scale.
Enjoy it

Except not everyone survives in The Hobbit?

- Being able to play mostly with the mouse and to zoom the tactical camera out more so I could play the game at a higher difficulty than 'casual', ugh.
- More than 8 skill slots.
- Better looking hair, there's almost all butch and buzz cuts and one of the few longer hair styles has side burns ffs (was it really necessary to make a hairstyle unusable by a female character when it could have been good for either gender?).
- Being able to use the formal uniform (incl. customizable colours) in skyhold. The PJ's have to go.
- Storage space... I did the quest areas in the wrong order apparently because I had tons of high level items I couldn't use yet but didn't want to destroy either.
- Use the inquisition for personal power. Had to play goody-two-shoes, why?
- Being able to fail once in a while and work your way back up, I loved the part in DAO where you get imprisoned in Fort Drakon. Something like that. It makes victories all the more sweeter.
- Some personal investment into the bad guy of the story (remember Arl Howe). Corypheus meant nothing to me.
- End boss too easy compared to other bosses, I swatted him like a fly, I had more trouble with the normal high dragons. Yes, I did play on casual but still.
- Dig a hole and toss in Vivienne and Sera.
There's probably more, but this will do for now.
- Meaningful castle upgrades that actually do something
- A horde-style castle defence minigame with those orlisian scorpions, trebuchets & your troops (why the hell am i even upgrading the castle if it never gets attacked?)
- More companion quests, party banter & longer romances
- Longer main story line or a more satisfying ending
- Romancable scout harding
- Conquer thedas after main story, i am the glorious herald of andraste bringing "peace" to the old corrupt nations of thedas. ![]()

I like the way you think!
1. More of a "yeah I could have stuck with that if I hadn't been raised out here" attitude for Qunari inquisitors
2. Romance Scout Harding
3. Not wear the tan pajamas
4. Throw some of this high level armor in a box. I did most of Emprise du Lion at level 10 to get silverite early on, now I've got tons of crap.

Yeah, so that they can make me choose between killing my Inquisitor and some over beloved ex-companion/protagonist in future games... wonderful. ![]()
Y'know, the latter part of your post is something I was thinking about too. I thought we'd get asked a lot more questions about our motives/thoughts/decisions than we were, especially after the devs said that the companions would actually question our decisions and remember if we do something they don't agree on.
1. Black Emporium Mirror - As stated several other places the lighting and animations can dramatically change how your Quizzy looks in game
2. Hair ...F!Quiz hair ...bangs that swoop (like Cassandra in DA2), import styles from DA2 ...anything besides 50 shades of shaved & helmet head
3. Ditch the Pajamas and give us some craftable options for Skyhold "house" wear
4. Ball gown for the Belle ...how can F!Quiz impress Orlais dressed like a Tin Soldier?
The gowns are there, everyone else is wearing them ...
Distribute 3 stat points at each level up
Click to move (outside tact)
Click to automatically move to the item and pick it
One click auto attack forever, even if I get knocked down, frozen, stun or anything else
Explore and finish all quests without needing to jump no matter what
Explore the whole map with enemy scaling to your level so that you don't need ridiculous map switching
Feel like I feel when I play Origins
Except not everyone survives in The Hobbit?
oops my bad.memory is hazy. I just got the sense that those people got off easy given what they went through.Have only watched the movies.

I wanted to be a Dragon.
Damn BioWare and their false illuminati ****.
Enter the Black City
I really wanted to meet Stenishok.
1. I wanted to see more of the old companions. I know they're all busy doing their own things, and Varric explains nicely where Hawke's buddies are but it would have been nice to run into a few of them. Or even some more mentions would have been nice.
2. I really wanted to visit Antiva and see what the other Dwarven city (name escapes me at the moment) was like.
3. Tell all the Orleasians what maker awful fashion they have! Lady, how can you talk properly with that giant ruffled collar covering half of your face?!?
4. Get Morrigan as a party member. She's with my Warden so I'm fine on no romance, but I sooo wanted her back in the party.
have pretty hair
