A. In every party/team fight, they must 1 tanker, 1 DPS, 1 healer (support, buffer)
This is the stereotype build.
1.Tanker role.
Protecting party member by attacking/stalling the highest level monster. Taking damage and doing minimal damage to enemy.
2. DPS role/Damage dealer (melee and ranged)
Clearing low level enemies and then done damage at the highest level monster to take it down. Fairly squishy with glass cannon build, but melee dps have some high hp/skills(block/evade) to sustain the position.
3. Healer (support/buffer)
Healing allies and grant buff to ally and give debuff to the enemy. doing minimal damage to the enemy.
B. To make this game more interesting, developer can make hybrid class. Example.
Player can choose 2 of this 3 build.
DPS (attack art), Tank (defense art like blocking, evading ), Support (buffing/debuff (debuff is like stunning, dooming ,cripple, freeze)
1. DPS + Tank = Tanking in front but also doing nice damage, however, dont have much skills that grant bonus attributes to allies or debuff enemies (example stunning enemy for 5 sec, they have like 1.5 sec)
2. DPS + Support = This is pure damage dealer if the player take buffing skills as the support skills. Usually ranged hero ( Like Ranger, however I like game that give player 2 weapon sets, like assassin with duel dagger and a short bow). Also can be melee hero with high skills play. ( maybe assassin class can do the job)
3. Tank + Support = This is like stereotype Paladin/Death Knight class with tanker build.
C. To make this game more interesting give all the class the ability to use magic. And give the Mage an ability to use weapon as well (like sword mage/ battlemage)
But of course they is specialization for balancing the game.
Weapon user can use magic, but the damage is not as high as weapon damage and magic user can use weapon but theres a catch.
Same goes to 2nd weapon set. Example, Assassin can use short bow but the damage is not greater as the damage he dealt with duel dagger.
