It would require 200 rogue promotions. I would say someone would deserve it after that much dedication.

Oh yes, because promoting a rogue class character 200 times is not time consuming at all (I'm rolling my eyes right now). That's of course assuming that the stat values are the same between SP and MP. We should also take into consideration that there may actually be a hard cap on stat bonuses, which we'll never know about because there are no numbers in DAMP...just lines on a bar.

I don't really know what my crit chance is since I don't know how to check it, but I can feel that it's already quite high, so you probably don't need to promote 200. Still, you need to promote a lot.
Also, it is just ridiculous that I can't check my crit chance and other attributes like in SP.

In my experience games do not allow you to gain this much power. It would be awesome if it did. I just don't think this is how the stats will work.
Edit: kal I agree with you. But games generally don't.

Anzer. Game is 3 weeks older people already have 20+ promotions. Hypothetical - rogue begins with 10% crit chance. Gear + abilities add 20%. Now at 30. 100 promotions (10 weeks play time) & you are at 80% crit. I did not mean to insinuate it could be done in a short amount of time.

I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm just pointing out that are too many unknown variables to declare something will be too powerful. If I were to make assumptions, I would wager that there is a hard cap on all of these hidden stats. I don't believe anyone will be able to reach 100% crit rate, because it will be coded to cap at, say, 80% or something along those lines.
On the other hand, it is possible that we may be able to reach 100% crit rate, 100% magical damage resistance and 100% awesomeness or whatever. It would just be really nice if the values were significantly more transparent (ie: we could see the numbers).

I know people have posted single player stats but I don't think those translate to mp. Why? You ask? Because people have already promoted 20+ times. Not hard to see a 100% crit rate possible. Easily. Too powerful.
Not really too powerful considering how much time and effort those people put into those stats. Why would you care? It is a team based game, if someone is better than you does that mean they need to be nerfed? It isn't like you are competing.

There's probably a cap on number of promotions or soft caps on crit rating maybe even hard caps. We do need to know, though.

I just can't wrap my brain around this concept. How is it "awesome" that not only do players get better at playing the game due to accumulating experience, but the game itself literally becomes easier at the same time?
Maybe it's just me, but usually the more I play a game, the more I want it to challenge me.
