Sera. Rude, childish, stupid, talks gibberish. What's not to punch?
Her one saving grace is that she reminds of...

You know what, nah. I shouldn't diss Simple Jack like that.

I didn't want to punch any of the characters, but I found Vivienne's silky condescension very off-putting. My Inquisitor agreed that the Circles needed to be saved, but heavily reformed, she just didn't think Vivienne would be best suited to do that. Of course, ironically, due to gameplay reasons that I still don't totally understand, Vivienne ended up as
I also found Sera's Chaotic Stupid attitude annoying, but my Inquisitor was happy to have her help--she just wouldn't ever put Sera in charge of anything!
My female elf wants to punch this guy:
Brilliant. Just...bravo.
The only character I hate in this entire series is Morrigan. I enjoyed shanking her in Witch Hunt.
Can I ask why? I see a lot of hate thrown Morrigan's way about how she's self serving and untrustworthy, but I always felt back from DA:O that her agenda was clearly more about what she considers 'the greater good' and less about personal power. And she outright states, seemingly genuinely (she's desperate to protect the well) that she basically just wants to preserve old magics and ancient secrets from being lost to the ages. Her friendship path is the best I've experienced from a Bioware companion, too.
Really? I always thought Morrigan was rather arrogant and tended to forge ahead with her goals without truly considering their impact. She thinks they're right, and therefore they must be done, whatever the cost. That said, I didn't hate her character (it was extremely well-written), and I thought that she gets quite enough of a comeuppance in DA:I if you go along with her.
I'm a Vivienne fan. I became a fan when she simply said she wanted to make her own destiny, and that says a lot about the convictions and strength behind a person. She does need a reality check, but it's hard to dismiss her because she's so haughty. She is a bit too power crazy, though. She reminds me of Anora in a way, but Vivienne at least is transparent and unapologetic about it. I love that about her.
But if anyone I want to punch it's Fiona. I get that she's suffered, but my feelings towards her is like towards Anders. Incredibly stupid actions, but I wouldn't want to kill them for it. And I lost respect for her because she couldn't talk to the monarch(s) like she had a backbone. I understand the implications, but damn how would Vivienne handle that? First off, she wouldn't be that careless, and second, if ever she'd handle it like a boss!

Those are both valid criticisms. But I felt like (as you stated) they are purposely weaved throughout her character to give her depth, incredibly effectively. I could never hate her. Add on Claudia Black's phenomenal voice acting during the Temple of Mythal and the Kieran stuff (and that little chuckle you can get out of her with the right dialogue option after the Orlesian Ball...), yeah, I love her. She's an example of a flawed, arguably despicable, character done well.
That 1 guy on that 1 stall that sells those things that get you points.
You can punch Solas if your approval is low 2:25
I need this for Sera!

I totally agree. Her arrogance is an integral part of her character and, while it makes her unlikeable, it also makes her character great. And Claudia Black really knocks it out of the park in both DA:O and DA:I.
I hate Solas, he's annoying.
