Sera, I'm only keeping her because I love having my "paragon" Inquisitor fight with her - I've never gotten the options to be so angry and abrupt with a character before and I'm loving it. The game gives you the option to punch her with words, if your approval falls as low as mine, and boy is it satisfying. At least I can see where Vivienne is coming from, and Solas was always incredibly neutral towards me. But that Sera...

Vivienne needs at least a good slap for being so stuck up and preachy. She knows best in her own mind and she will remind you of that every chance she gets. Solas is just a nerdy know it all the kind you see on forums who every post has to write a huge essay about why they are right. Then when people write anything to counter their argument they have to break down each individual sentence in quotes and explain why they are wrong with a huge essay for each answer.

The moment for me with Vivienne is a particular conversation in Skyhold where she pulls a witchy little prank and the proceeds to lecture you about how superior she is. I don't think she realizes that my female Qunari mage could likely break her in two bare handed, without magic. It would be great if there was a dialogue option for that. But then that's the me response, and not necessarily the one that they have in game. I'll have to save right before I talk to her next time and try out the different options to see what option suits me best.

I want to punch Sera for sure, she's just so...infuriating! I can't actually put into words how much I dislike her, gah! The only reason I kept her was because it was my first playthrough and I didn't want to turf out any companions and miss content.

Cole hunts and pecks to type, and tries to make use of the keys left out because they feel hurt and lonely. Cassandra's a mod, definitely, but she occasionally participates in the fun.

 

Ah but...on topic...I want to punch Vivienne and Sera. Vivienne is so high and mighty, and in a way so is Sera. I'd rather punch Sera, though, because at least Viv doesn't just go around calling everything she doesn't agree with or understand stupid.

I think it would have been nice to punch/slap Sera a few times, despite liking her. That girl has no class XD. I got so much mileage out that Slap Morrigan mod, would've been nice to do the same to Sera when she has her dickish moments.

Advisors could be the moderators - Josephine handles everything by PMing warnings to misbehaving users, Cullen hands out temporary bans, permanent when need be, and Leliana is that mod who you never see but you know is always watching your every move.

Sera cant stand her at all hate everything about her i was surprised you counldnt arrest her and judge her i hate how your inquisitor suddenly pusses out in scnes with her like when she kills someone she doesnt know due to rumors i had to stop playing yesterday as she riles me iv never hated a digital character like this before

Nope, all the companions are pretty interesting and have a good dynamic to me. Sera does test my patience sometimes though. The only person I really wanted to slap was Connor in Redcliffe. Ugh, I get why he is like he is but I'ma need him to man up.

I am loving Inquisition, but I have to say that much like DA:2 there is one character companion that I just want to punch in the face whenever I talk to them or they open their mouth;...and that would be Vivienne.

 

Yeah, yeah put down the torches and pitchforks. She's such a primadona and a spoiled, mean spirited jerk that she reminds me of Carver and I LOATHED him. Backhanded insults, looking down her nose at everyone...I just with there was an option to slap her sometimes lol.

 

So I thought I'd ask the question: Is there a character companion that you just want to punch sometimes?  (Keep in mind, Vivienne is classified as character I love to hate for me) All the characters are awesome in their own way; but sometimes there's that one that just rubs you the wrong way. I'm curious to see what other people think. Sometimes it's fun to just vent about it.

 

What say you?

 

Vivienne, I agree. I felt like creating the biggest, warrior Qunari and using him to backhand her. God I hate her.

Sera. It's like she chooses to be uneducated! She doesn't care for history and has an intense fear of magic (which is fine). She lives & thinks very much in the present and doesn't have consideration for the future. She's brash, vulgar, and I can't stand her laughing! As some people commented, she's like a british chav.

 

The only negative part about her that I'm ok with is not caring for elvhen culture because of her upbringing.

SERA.  Can not stand her.  I was so put off by my first conversation with her that on a whim I refused to recruit her the first time through.  Second time I forced myself to and I'm regretting it.  Irritating beyond belief.

Vivienne. I've had my fair share of narssistic, I-know-best-if-you-diagree-you-are-wrong poison spreaded IRL, don't need it in videogames also. Well, atleast I know better and won't recruit her next time around. Solas also would deserve a good ol' inquisitor punch in the face. Didn't we go through this whole "demons??? Nooo they are spirits and they are our friends" thing with Merrill? Somehow he and my Inquisitor are something along friends and mutuals, even though I was pretty sure he'd leave me after Cole's companion quest.
