Dorian can be punch!

I have to say, it seems like companions in this game seem awfully untroubled by being punched in the face. Maybe it's just the mages.

By untroubled, you mean that he... leaves? Because he does. An outright brawl MIGHT'VE been cool, but yeah...

I just think he acts more like you said something super-rude (rude enough to make him leave, sure) than hit him with your fist hard enough to knock him on his ass. I honestly think I'd be more stunned if someone hit me in the face. But I am not a superhuman adventurer, so I guess I should not be surprised that companions in this game are more composed than I'd be.

Solas has the excuse of being a god, but Dorian should probably die if he got punched by a warrior Adaar, then you'd get a "someone clean this up" line or something. My Adaar likes Dorian though so doesn't matter

I have to disagree about Solas, I love the guy. As do I with all companions. I just hate Vivienne, tho Solas burns her ass badly. Especially when she says something like,

"Solas darling, you should be doing more to help out." Solas: "Oh, I'm sorry Madam De Fer, please tell me how you helped, where this all started -- OH, that's right, you weren't there." I was like BURN beeeautch.

Then another time "Solas darling, if you ever want help with proper use of magic. Just let me know."

Solas: "Oh of course, could you by any chance direct me to a woman, who, doesn't front load her barriers."

Why is there no high five or bro-fist option to give for every magical burn.

Wow. I could never punch Dorian :/. He's my BFF. I wouldn't ever hit Vivienne even though she's my least favorite crew member in the entire Mass Effect and Dragon Age series.

To answer the question, while I would not punch her, the character who infuriates me most is Sera. I really was not expecting that; it was such a rude suprise, like the terrible keyboard/mouse controls. I didn't really like Vivienne either,  but I suspected that might happen. Not just a matter of politics; I liked Cassandra and Wynne, I just think Viv's a jackass. And I hated Anders, too, although I agreed with his politics. (just... not his terrorism)

I REALLY wanted to punch Sera. I hated her from the moment I met her. I settled for kicking her out.

Having her in the party with Cole makes it worth it. The boy knows how to get under her skin. (and everyone else's). Vivienne and Sera is also a good combo if you like to see Sera get burned. :D

What "politics" does Anders support, rather than messing up the Chantry, killing innocent people and making Justiace furious with mages and templars alike....

I hated Vivienne, at first. But then she grew on me. It's hilarious if you choose to side with the mages to seal the breach, take her with you to negotiate, and she says to Fiona, "Has your dementia gotten to you, dear?" Or something along those lines. I find if you just agree with everything she says/wants then she's not all that bad. She's a right c--t though, if you don't.

Solas is a bore. Cannot stand him, he actually made me mad when he questioned me about my decision in conscripting the mages. My character hit him, it was amazing.

Josephine is hit-worthy, I think it's the political garbage and the accent. Maybe I'm being harsh, I suppose I wouldn't...

Sera. I'd hit it. ;)

The only one I wanted to punch in DAI is that little ****** Solas who gave his ball to some crazy Magister and acted like he didnt know what was going on and being all helpful. Even made me thank him for having me clean up his mess.

Alister. He's like Carth 2.0. I hate him. Always have.

But as for an Inquisition character? Probably Dorian because of his mustace. He looks like Walt Disney.

Unless I missed something Carth is a better person than Alistair. Alistair has abandoned his oath in a hissy fit, He spat upon Duncan's memory in the name of honoring Duncan. What has Carth done to top that?

While it's close, I'd definitely say that my least favourite companion is Vivienne, followed closely by Sera.

Sera is ignorant, barely capable of stringing together a coherent sentence and altogether nigh unbearable, but I found Vivienne to be outright cruel. The way she constantly insults Blackwall (before the truth about his character comes out) really got me riled up, and how she treats Cole throughout was just terrible.
Of course, she was pleasant enough to me, but I just wanted to turn around and hit her sometimes.

Not punch exactly, but Maker, after Sera drew a weapon at my mage Lavellan (who already has trust issues after Blackwall), she would've been frosted in a blink if it was up to us. Then she would've been thrown in prison and either a. considered a traitor and tortured to death during interrogation (gotta love hardened Leliana) or b. examined by Cole, confirmed a mere idiot and left in prison at least until Corypheus is dealt with.

I mean c'mon, it's ridiculous - she threatens to shoot you, and your most harsh possible reaction is "Sera put that away now"? Dunno. When someone tries to kill me I usually try to kill them back.

Sera.

I felt like Vivienne was there to be despised and rather enjoyed her antagonism. She's the Miranda/Merrill of DA:I. SO much more interesting if you don't get along with her.

Solas has that horrible trait where he has to stomp all over everything other's hold dear for the sake of being right. I mean, seriously, the Vallaslin thing with his romance? 'You mean so much to me. Your face is wrecked and your culture is laughably wrong. I love you. I'm breaking up with you.' Solas, you gentleman! There was no reason to bring that up. The Vallaslin has a totally different cultural meaning with the Dalish than it did in the past and Elfquisitor is likely quite proud of it. But it all felt like it was very much in character and made him seem like a three dimensional, flawed being.

But Sera...terrible. Rude. Abrasive. Willfully ignorant and close minded. Bigoted and internally racist. Incredibly grating. Emotionally stunted. Mean spirited. Immature. She says 'innit', which is a crime in itself. I kept her around for completionists sake but I might have to let her go on my next playthrough.
