Hey, just wanted to say that I have only had a 360 for about a few weeks now, so any stupid questions i ask are stupid because..well i just am unaware lol

So, heres my situation. I bought a used x360 from my friend, i have not played online with it,  but have only played Mass Effect on this console. My friend had live and a gold account, but the accougn expired and i will have to be buyign a network adapter to go online.

Second part is, i bought the collectors edition of mass effect 2, and reports are that i will have to put in a code in the cerberus network in order to get the armor, as well as zaeed and everything else correct?

So, im just wondering what the steps are that i should take so i can get all this stuff..i think some must agree its kinda confusing, compounded onto the fact that i have only had the system for a few weeks...im kinda unaware as to what i  should do?

As well, i want to transport my save file from ass effect 1 over to mass effect 2, so will taht have any bearing on anything?

again, thanks so much for anyone who can even give a few ideas on what to know and what to do.

first off you dont need to have an xbox live gold account to get the dlc. you can make a silver account for free from your profile once you are connected to the internet. you also dont NEED to have a network adapter, if your console is close enough to your modem you can use an ordinary network cable. importing from mass effect 1 will effect the story of ME2 as well as your starting stats and cash but wont have any effect on the dlc. hope this helps!

ok I'm new to this whole code thing here for the preorder dlc... do I enter the code in the site here or do I just wait till I get the game and enter the code ingame or something?



So far from reading in the forums here I have yet to get a clear answer on this or how to do this process since I am getting the 360 version of ME2 and it seems that the site here is only for the PC versions of ME2.



Moron proof instructions would be greatly appreciated since I am really new here and have no idea how this process works. And no I do not have DA:O so please do not say it works just like that.

its from ingame. as soon as you load it up you will be asked to make a bioware account. then there will be an option from the main menu downloadable content, click it then you will see redeem code, thats where you enter all dlc codes.

Ok...I just put my code into the website, can I still DL it onto my 360? If not...I will feel very dumb haha

What is the answer? I've already redeemed two of my 3 codes here and will be very upset if it is now PC only when I have the X360 edition.

You enter the code in this site. Then when you start the game on the 360 it will ask you to login to your ea account and activate your cerebus code. Once you do this, all the codes you put in here will show up as content that can be downloaded to the game.

I entered both the cerberus code and the gamestop one on the site. When I boot up the game on my 360 it says the codes are in use. Now I can't download the cerberus without paying 1200 ms points....
